Dark Magic

Dark Magic technology preview has debuted in 3.6.6

This technology will bring StartAllBack improvements to other apps in the system. Or not if this cases trouble.

Experiment #1 - acrylic menus and mica menu bars. More to come

Use 'startisbackcfg /magic' command to enable or disable.

Known caveats:

- Elevated applications are handled only if you're admin and install for all users

- No settings, you have to restart

I'm interested in compatibility issues. [Not applied and not broken is fine for custom menus apps]

Tihiy this is great! Just a question, are there any plans for properties dialog's to display in dark theme when launched from other applications? For example I use Directory Opus as my primary file manager rather than explorer and it would be awesome if the property sheets would be dark themed when launched from DOpus. Thanks!!

Acrylic menus do not work on Internet Download Manager and Autohotkey GUI.

It's working there bro...just reduce the app window size and r-click any dwonloaded file...u will see.
 

I've question, is it possible to use some of the settings with EP too or can SAB port the Win10 Start from starting version of windows like 22000.52. Bcoz for the reason of Start menu, I'm using both of the apps. I know it is not recommended but..

DarkMagic 3.6.7 improves injection so app coverage must be improved.

All Acrylic menus still do not work on Internet Download Manager, Autohotkey GUI mica menu bars work, right click acrylic menus do not work.

That's curious, how do you launch those apps? IDM 6.41 and AHKUX/AutoGUI seems fine here

After a few computer restarts, the acrylic menus on the ahk gui are now working, but IDM is still not working, and I found that DarkMagicX86.dll is not loaded.

Maybe you're in dark mode? Because IDM uses custom dark mode. Is window context menu acrylic?

Or maybe you're not admin and it's elevated? Or hidden from taskbar? Observe DebugView output when launching app.

My computer is always on light mode. I now find that not only IDM does not have acrylic, but all 32 bit applications do not have acrylic.

Perhaps DarkMagicLoaderX86.exe was removed by antivirus, fighting with that now

System Informer has these weird missing unicode characters.
