msfntor Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Homeless Man’s Birthday Party For His Dog Warms The Hearts Of Many, Leading To A Better Life For Them All No birthday is complete without a birthday cake with a candle on top. Your one wish per year, how will you use it, what will you wish for? Maybe a new car or a vacation to Malibu, mayhaps a wish for world peace or infinite amounts of money? Well, we know what one man wished for as his dream came true nearly as soon as the candles were blown out. A homeless man was seen throwing a humble birthday party for his two dogs, singing them ‘Happy Birthday’, giving them hugs, and treating them to cake all whilst sitting on the stairs of a public park, having no other means of shelter. But that would soon change. As always, don’t forget to leave your thoughts below. Let’s get into the story! Well here’s something you don’t see every day! A man named Choco sat on some stairs at a local park with two dogs wearing party hats ... One sunny evening, a man walking through a park in Bucaramanga, Colombia, saw a homeless man throwing what seemed to be a birthday party for his pet dogs. The man named Choco was sitting on stairs alongside his companions Shaggy and Nena, almost as if basking in the late sunshine, however, the party hats sitting atop of the pup’s heads told a different story. They were celebrating the birthday of Shaggy the pup. Cake and candles were revealed and he started singing ‘Happy Birthday’... The bystander decided to capture the event on camera and we’re very glad he did as what happened next is truly heartwarming. Choco gave each of the sleepy pups some pets before unveiling a small cake and candles. He then started singing to his two companions a version of ‘Happy Birthday’. It appeared that it was Shaggy’s birthday and Choco was throwing him a little party. Two candles were lit on the small cake, the pups carefully observing their owner’s actions, thinking of their wish... The candles were blown out and a wish was made as the pups received pets and kisses... The video quickly gained traction, encouraging people to donate food, supplies and money to help get Choco and his pups back on their feet... Wishes do come true, it seems, but the sad truth is – the rare person becomes homeless for any fault of their own... Homelessness is a serious social issue that greatly affects those unfortunate enough to experience it... Having a pet can greatly increase morale and chances to better your life, though it comes with additional costs... The changes to perception and stigma of homelessness are crucial to helping solve the issue and providing help to those that need it most... ... one thing is for certain – animals save us as much as we save them... msfntor Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 Beautiful sea sapphire can make itself invisible in an instant Video: Shimmery sea sapphires disappear in a flash Red and blue and green and violet and… Invisible. Sea sapphires have been described as “the most beautiful animal you’ve never seen”. Even when you do see them, they can vanish in an instant (see video, above). But how do they pull off their trick? This tiny crustacean has alternating layers of hexagonal guanine crystals and cytoplasm on its back that reflect light in a sparkling array of hues. Different species shimmer in different colours, ranging from gold to blue. The colour is determined by the distance between the crystals and the angle at which light hits them. In blue sea sapphires, the distance between the crystals is about the same as the wavelength of blue light, so the animals appear blue. The angle of light hitting the sea sapphire also affects the colour and lets it perform its disappearing act. For the species in the video, for example, the animal’s tilt of 45 degrees causes the reflected light to slip into the ultraviolet spectrum, and the animal becomes invisible to our eyes. Only the males have these amazing colours, the females are completely translucent. Males swim in spirals, probably to show off their shimmering hues to potential mates, says Lia Addadi at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. “An intriguing question that still remains is whether the differences in colour are genetic and each male is born with a defined colour, or whether they can control the reflected colour,” says Addadi. Understanding how the light reflection trick works could inspire new reflective or anti-reflective coatings in glasses, mirrors and optical display systems, says Addadi. XPerceniol Posted October 30, 2022 Author Posted October 30, 2022 (edited) Monkey in back again ... **sigh** Round in circles again with the Benzo and Gabapentin. My GABA receptors must be wrecked at this point, but I've done it before and I can kick it again. I know when my body revolts trying to stop or come down on dosage and even lower dose and I feel anxiety city. Meds related to GABA have always been tricky, but I never touched any booze - I Promise you! I'm not too far into it this time to catch it before a nose dive. Otherwise, I'm recovering, I guess, but not quite there yet. I feel bad that I caused others to feel a sad feeling and I'll try to keep in better touch now. Edited October 30, 2022 by XPerceniol 1

XPerceniol Posted November 2, 2022 Author Posted November 2, 2022 (edited) Will keep 10 days worth of Journal re this topic and then consider myself done with the Benzo. Day 2 without benzo and I feel very shaky and jittery but ok in the mind. Somewhat steady and determined. At about 3 more days, I'll flush them and work on the other GABA. Overalll mind is in the right place - at leaste. Edited November 2, 2022 by XPerceniol 1
XPerceniol Posted November 2, 2022 Author Posted November 2, 2022 Will start to replace With a healthy suppliment of B Complex with the focus on Vit B6. This helps some to taper off such meds. Under normal circumstances, these meds help many, but not THIS (addictive) personality. I have strong history but am back to square 1 and on 1 AD and The GABA. Unfortunately. I'm on Haldol and will have to get the poision out of my body. Sorry about grammer errors. 2
XPerceniol Posted November 3, 2022 Author Posted November 3, 2022 Day 3 without and whilst off to a rough start, I ate lunch and dinner (unusual for me to eat more than 1 meal per day as I'm not that hungry). Mind was a bit off, but improved a little as the day progressed and the guy that took me to the village left and it should be a quiet night with my computers and movies. I hope to test more of the browsers that I'd written off and see if I can make them work with little resources. I know, I find it enjoyable to do things when "they" say you can't. Still having moments of confusion but this is not unusual for me; certainly given the circumstances that my body actually fights ridding itself of poison. I have a VERY addictive personality and I deduce I was preconditioned to this mindset from that way I entered this world. My mother was a heavy drinker and drank and smoked pretty much up until I was born. She always said she felt like a child and she was 'not right' to say the very least and my DD father did the best he could until he no longer could. 2
