Could you fix the wuweb.dll and wuaueng.dll to make wu v5 and v6 working together on windows XP? I successfully make v5 working but xp itself v6 got broken after I used the proxy.

Yes, it's very unusual. But in WinFX's video,he used Windows Server 2008,which is the last version Windows Server Editions support x86 systems.From Windows Server 2008 R2(in my case),they only support x64 systems. Although they "compatible" with x86 software,fastdo.dll maybe too old that it can't be used in a newer platform?

I think that a fix must be used to the fastdo.dll.

That's possible, I would recommend you to try.

Register fastdo.dll in C:\Windows\SysWow64

Like i said, i fixed it with using regsvr32 c:/windows/system32/fastdo.dll or regsvr32 c:/windows/syswow64/fastdo.dll

It should work afterwards using the full file path.

Now I have already solved the problem,but it still returns 500.

How to fix 500 Error on Windows Update v5 multilanguage? (created by @WinFX on the Discord)

First, locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InetStp\Configuration on regedit

Next create a dword called MaxWebConfigFileSizeInKB and set value on 500 hexadecimal or 1280 decimal

Repeat the same with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\InetStp\Configuration

Restart the server, or reload IIS Administration and Web Publishing (WWW) services

and on a newly installed me vm, v4 found .net framework 1.1 but it isn't installed after download finished

The Chinese version has some grammar and word error.

"Windows Update v4.0 返回网络" is not a normal understandable chinese sentence. Maybe it should be "Windows Update v4.0 恢复运作" ？

The  "Windows 站点 Update v4.0" is also abnormal.It should be "Windows Update v4.0 站点".

"不提供支持驱动程序" might be "暂不提供驱动程序".

''不支持Windows 98 ...眼下'' should be “眼下不支持Windows 98...”

''非常感谢您的选择 Windows Update v4.0'' should be “非常感谢您选择 Windows Update v4.0”

Hope my knowledge about Chinese makes the project better.

How do I enable activex on Windows XP RTM IE6 to use Windows Update v4?  It runs fine on SP2 and SP3 though, even Windows 98, ME and 2000.
