This means Windows Update can't properly connect to the server. Did you used our patcher in any case? If that's the case, the patcher hasn't been properly installed probably.

WULover Posted September 30, 2024 Author Posted September 30, 2024 Hello! This page is part of Windows Update V4, and uses an ActiveX control, thus making it impossible to work in browsers other than Microsoft Internet Explorer.

WULover Posted Sunday at 03:36 PM Author Posted Sunday at 03:36 PM Hi, to everyone that's still following us on MSFN. As of February 16 2025, here's what we have to do, to get the project out of its current idle state; - Find out how to make our own V2/V3.1 inventories; - Revise the V4 inventories for 98/98SE/Me; - Get the Internet Explorer categories to show up on V4; - Get V4 to work on XP; - Complete our collection of Windows Service Packs and IE installers; Find missing files and try to collect more logs using the tool I made (https://www.windowsupdaterestored.com/en/downloads/wurinvchecker.htm). This is very important. There currently is not much work done on WUR, and most of these steps will require a lot of time and effort to get them working. If you think you can help us, be sure to let me know!
