msfntor
Someone’s wild mustang got loose in Wisconsin, swam a near mile across Sturgeon Bay to avoid the cops, and then just kept on runnin’ Cardinal Pritchard ··Nov 18, 2022 · NottheBee.com Okay, this is nuts: Escaped mustang...: https://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2022/11/14/escaped-mustang-wrangled-Door-County-Wisconsin/2121668463572/ Yes, it looks like someone was in the process of breaking a Mustang up in Door County, Wisconsin when the darned thing broke the rope and got loose Sunday afternoon. And let me tell you, when this bad boy got loose, he was out of control, a crazy horse running loose up and down the rural streets of Door County. Pretty much anybody besides its trainer came near it and it was gone, outta there! And when police finally got involved here's what happened: On November 13, 2022, at 2:01 PM, the Door County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the area of Bay Shore Drive in the Township of Sevastopol for a loose horse. The horse entered the bay of Green Bay, swimming from Bay Shore Drive to Potawatomi State Park. The horse continued running around Grondin Road, Duluth Ave, and was last seen in the area of County S and Wilson Road. Several attempts to contain the horse were unsuccessful. The owner said the horse is a wild mustang and asked that you not approach or try to catch it. Instead, contact the Door County Communications Center at (920) 746-2416 with a location. If driving around this area, slow down and be aware that a horse is loose in Southern Door County. Below is a picture of the horse. Yes, the horse swam nearly a mile across the Sturgeon Bay!!! An amazing accomplishment! Here's my estimation of the horse's route across the bay: About four-fifths of a mile, that horse swam! And then he just kept on runnin' like Forrest Gump into Potawatomi State Park. The mustang continued to evade police all the way through the night, and the rest of its journey looked something like this: Yes, unless this horse used a bridge, I'm certain it crossed the waterway again at the canal, which is just amazing. A few more miles on County Road T there, and I'm thinking that horse would've hopped right into Lake Michigan and swam to the other side. It wasn't until the next morning around 8 a.m., several miles from where he exited the chilly waters of Sturgeon Bay, that authorities were finally able to corral him. Great News, The Mustang has been safely securred [sic]. We would like to send thanks to Jesus "Chewy" Jauregui, who assited [sic] in corralling the Mustang. Jesus Jauregui — goes by the name of "Chewy" — is apparently a well-known cowboy around Door County, and he and his brother were the ones who were finally able to capture the horse. Jauregui said about his plan action, "First we have to be quiet and see if we can put the rope on the neck. We put [the horse] in the middle of the field and see if we have a good shot. We got it in the first shot." A self-proclaimed horse whisperer, Jauregaui knew it was important to approach the horse calmly. "Horses, they have a fear, but if we chase them, they'll [become aggressive]. We're not trying to be aggressive to him, we just try to understand," Jauregui explains. On the very first try!! Great work, Chewy! You're a Door County hero! For you horse lovers out there, you'll be glad to know that the mustang was unharmed, and simply needed some rest after this magnificent journey. What a story! I'll leave you people with the local news coverage of this story:

But the time where you had to fill your phone and computer with tons of Apps occupying space has passed. Current advancements in web technology allow us to do a ton of things directly from a web browser like Chrome or Firefox, without the need to download anything or having to install third-party software with escalated privileges that can access way too many information on our phone, or even have to register on an App Store with your credit card and pay for the apps. It does make me sad to see people paying money to deceiving companies earning millions of dollars for things that are available free of charge. So here’s a list of a few tools that I use daily/weekly and are free, without registration needed and without the need to download anything. If you know any other free web-based tools that you find useful and can be helpful for everyone else please share them in the comments. Web Tools here: https://xaviesteve.com/6812/web-based-tools/ PS: @AstroSkipper once suggested me to use DeepL for translating, but I still continue to use Google Translate for translating instead, because DeepL does not contain my country's native language (forgot to tell you that as the reason of me not using DeepL, sorry @AstroSkipper!)
