In order to get it working from the control panel, you have to install the SHA-2 Code Signing update, (KB4474419) and also enable TLS 1.2 in Internet Options.

You need Vista patch by abbodi

I already knew that. For accessing MU in Windows 7 use the app version. In my view there'll never be any chance to get web version of MU working. And I know you are German like me so use Winfuture Update Pack for Windows 7 including all updates until January of 2020 to get rid of error code 0x80072efe. No more to say related to that matter!

Why not use Simplix pack....?

Hi, I don't know this "Simplix Pack" but the Winfuture Pack for Windows 7 is a German one and there aren't too much of them. Furthermore I had used it in the past and it worked.  But thanks for your tip!

Too bad they say some of the included updates break non-SSE2 systems...

@AstroSkipper Is there a similar program for ProxhttpsProxy? Since it doesn't run on W2k.

You can try the python version of ProxHTTPSProxyMII.

Also HTTPSProxy was mentioned many times about 10(ish) pages back...

P.S.

guys, you're adding pages here like crazy, lol

Only HTTPSProxy but afaik it bases upon ProxHTTPSProxy so it won't work either.

non-SSE2 CPUs are obsolete, who uses them anymore? Can they even run a modern website without lagging?

Do you have a link to the Python version?

Probably because IE6 cannot use HTTPS

Of course, IE 6 can use https. It supports SSL 2, SSL 3 and Tls 1.0.

I was able to open the first version of ProxhttpsProxy. Unfortunately, no https pages can be opened.

See this quick guide, get the python (non-compiled) version and check if you can run it.

Use it only for HTTPS, additionally in config.ini set ProxAddr to the rear server ( http://localhost: RearPort ) and you can run it without Proxomitron.

Even modern systems often struggle on those "modern" websites.

ProxhttpsProxy cannot be opened even with the launcher. Proxomitron is running.
btw. I get SSL passthru in Proxomitron.
