phaolo
This Asus laptop is not mine, but it has a strange UI. Is this Desktop type normal for Win10? All programs are basically hidden, and I can only use\add apps. Same for the application bar and the Start Menu. Some common links have also been moved in a submenu accessible from an icon at the top. Also, sometimes, due to various errors, a normal desktop appears instead of this O_o WTF? greenhillmaniac
Yes, I think it's using Tablet Mode, though I may be wrong... Go to the Settings App and see if Tablet Mode is enabled.

phaolo
Thank you for the replies, I'll check the setting next time. Btw, Win10 applied that Tablet Mode automatically after the upgrade..
Tripredacus
What size screen is on that notebook? I wonder if it is a small screen, if it switched to that mode because of it. I've been testing a notebook with a 14" screen and the default Windows view is too big for it. For example, if you open Settings, the button items are cut off and you get a scroll bar.
