Hey Big Muscle, are you thinking of bringing back support for FrameMargin settings?  Just curious.

Not now, maybe later. It is not a priority, because frame size can be influenced by altas+layout which I will describe on final release.

Something in your system sends a message that system colors have been changed and thus Aero Glass reloads the settings.

Not sure what you mean by layout, but I'm sure you have something good in mind.  I look forward to hearing your recommendations on that.

 

For what it's worth, I've tried expanding the Drop Shadow resources to include more margin...  That does work, BUT...  Unfortunately it brings a downside:  It changes the edge from a crisp appearance to a fuzzy one, detracting from the overall clean look.

Anyone test the latest Aero Glass build on the official Windows 10 release (not technical preview)? About to upgrade just wondering if it supports it or not. Thanks!

Pretty much everyone here's testing 10240, which by most accounts is the official release.  It was available to insiders before the 29th.

 

That being said, Aero Glass isn't released for 10240.  What people are showing above is a test version, meant for stability testing.  It's not turnkey, and it's not documented yet.

And yes, I know it's for testing, that's why I report that Edge is not behaving well with ModernFrame.dll - that's what testing is about, or? :)

I didn't know that I distributed ModernFrame.dll with AeroGlass for build 10240. So probably my mistake...

 

 

You didn't distributed it, but as you said earlier in this thread you have this nice ModernFrame.dll for testing purposes and you didn't wanted to make a new thread for it. So I felt like getting it as well and have a test with it. Sorry if this confused you.

There isn't a way to get rid of the DWM debug window right now even WITH donating.  The product simply isn't released.  You're trying out a test version, still in development.

 

It gets to be difficult to find information when the thread gets long.

I actually just figured out how to get rid of it, end the task conhost.exe under the user "DWM-1"

Then enjoy random crashes when some debug output will be written to invalid memory address instead of the console.

Then I restart dwm, it's not THAT unstable.
