So how compatible with the modern web (HTML5, etc...) is Opera 9x and 10x? (I liked v10.10). Is it good enough to get around in?

Opera 10.6x is more stable, and doesn't freeze as much. It has better aligned graphics too. The only browser I currently trust on NT 4.0.

A small contribution: I just tried the $ AXE hex editor software (shareware, now abandoned, the website says it is for OS Win 95 to XP)
I found that AXE version 3.3 runs well in my system (Win98SE with USP V2.1 and wihtout KernelEX), but AXE version 3.4 crashes; AXE version 3.4 runs well in WinXPSP2. Could you confirm this (the AXE V3.4 crashes in Win98SE)?

to jaclaz: because with AXE you can view a file in a graphical manner setting the column width, and seeing the file like a bitmap field, and then you can graphically discern different file areas of your interest (for example like editing graphical resources in dos games).

HP RecordNow 4.56 could be added to the list. The program itself 'requires' an older version to be installed but unzipping the installation file and installing it via MSI will install the program with no faults and does not need a previous version then. It's a great program and works with many of the new drives. I've used it for years and it does data disks, exact copies, music CDs, and ISO images (use the data disk option and it'll ask you if you want to create a disk with the image). It also burns to DVD drives as well. It does not require anything special from HP either, it just works.
