Are you saying you've read through these instructions thoroughly and still can't understand what to do next?

Do you have a donation.key?  If so, the symbols Aero Glass needs to keep up to date with the latest patches from Microsoft will be downloaded automatically from Microsoft.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to do. And I don't wanna go messing with registry files or install or download something if I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing, I don't want to risk anything.

 

I have experience with technical things such as this, I have some knowledge of advanced things such as things stated here http://www.glass8.eu/guide.html ...but I'd need to know what I'm doing or what I need to do before I do it. Preferably some straightforward instructions if possible ("do this and then this"). :P

 

And I do not have a donation.key ....

Unable to login to my account from the support page..Keep getting this same message.

Hey BigMuscle, new Windows 10 TP build 9860 doesn't appear to have symbols online yet as of tonight, thus it fails to load symbols for a while then reports DWM incompatibility error.

Ok, got it working now! Seems MSFN still has issues with IE 11 so I switched to Chrome and working fine now.

Hey BigMuscle, new Windows 10 TP build 9860 doesn't appear to have symbols online yet as of tonight, thus it fails to load symbols for a while then reports DWM incompatibility error.

I'm not going to hardcode symbol patterns until final Win10 RTM is released. Thus you need to wait for MS to release appropriate symbol packages.

Do you have a donation.key?  If so, the symbols Aero Glass needs to keep up to date with the latest patches from Microsoft will be downloaded automatically from Microsoft.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to do. And I don't wanna go messing with registry files or install or download something if I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing, I don't want to risk anything.

 

I have experience with technical things such as this, I have some knowledge of advanced things such as things stated here http://www.glass8.eu/guide.html ...but I'd need to know what I'm doing or what I need to do before I do it. Preferably some straightforward instructions if possible ("do this and then this"). :P

Did what you said and it almost gave me a virus so I acted fast and got rid of it and scanned my computer. Whether that method works or not, didn't work for me and I'm not gonna try that again.

 

Also, if anyone has a solution or another way to help, I'd love to hear it. And, what benefits would donating include? Anything for me necessarily? I ask for me cause I'm short on funds but would be glad to donate, especially if it would solve my issue, but I don't know if it would.

I'm not going to hardcode symbol patterns until final Win10 RTM is released. Thus you need to wait for MS to release appropriate symbol packages.

 

 

LOL, I hope you don't think I was asking you to do that.  Just reporting the facts as a good beta tester.  :)

You've been quoting the answer to your question all along.

 

Perhaps the best thing might be to just remove the files and AeroHost entry in the Task Scheduler and be done with it.
