  1. Also, if anyone has a solution or another way to help, I'd love to hear it. And, what benefits would donating include? Anything for me necessarily? I ask for me cause I'm short on funds but would be glad to donate, especially if it would solve my issue, but I don't know if it would. You've been quoting the answer to your question all along. Perhaps the best thing might be to just remove the files and AeroHost entry in the Task Scheduler and be done with it. -Noel Okay seems I've gotten it to work properly again, thanks for the help.
  2. Yeah, I'm not sure what to do. And I don't wanna go messing with registry files or install or download something if I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing, I don't want to risk anything. I have experience with technical things such as this, I have some knowledge of advanced things such as things stated here http://www.glass8.eu/guide.html ...but I'd need to know what I'm doing or what I need to do before I do it. Preferably some straightforward instructions if possible ("do this and then this"). And I do not have a donation.key .... Message me and I can help you 1 on 1. Did what you said and it almost gave me a virus so I acted fast and got rid of it and scanned my computer. Whether that method works or not, didn't work for me and I'm not gonna try that again. 4. Apparently it is because I don't know what you're referring to. I'm sorry I'm not technical with this stuff.... am I supposed to be? I don't think so if I'm an average user. And I guess I'm missing something on a specific page? I am asking what the deal is ever since I updated. Can I get some clearer instructions or what to do or read or download so I can potentially solve the issue? Because I'm not sure. Thanks.
  5. I think it's more then likely you are not using the latest build, I was running an older build on one of my PC's and noticed the same issue, updating t the latest fixed the problem. Well I will try to uninstall and reinstall Aero Glass but I am using the latest build for Windows 8.1 to my knowledge (1.2.5, which is the latest and the version I'm running). EDIT: I redownloaded v1.2.5 and I reinstalled. Still gives me the incompatible DWM error and the glitches.
  6. Not here it doesn't. It's working as solidly as ever for me with the latest updates. I've been running them for 2 full days now. -Noel Interesting. Ever since Windows 8.1 installed updates one day I get a notification almost every time I log in/out or restart that says my DWM is incompatible with Aero Glass and missing symbols and things. And Aero works but it's glitchy and lags around. :/
  7. Not sure if it's been discussed yet or not, but a recent update to Windows 8.1 makes the Aero quite glitchy. And overlapping windows aero shows right through the window behind to the desktop wallpaper. And you move a window around and it many times gets blurred around and lags.
  8. Not a big deal but I spotted a mistake in your Glass's desktop watermark I believe the website on the watermark should be updated to your current website
  9. Hey BigMuscle, I've used your Aero glass for a while before upgrading to Windows 8.1U1 and I have a question.... is there a way, perhaps a toggle or something, to turn off Aero glass? I may like to have it off at times and on at others. I am sure many people would like this feature! If there is no available option for this, do you think it's possible to implement at all? Thanks for the reply! And thanks for the app works well!
