babis Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 I used to use AIM and MSN.. but msn was being a lil bastard... so trillian solved the problem.. andI've been using it ever since...
piaqt Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Trillian is more of a pain than messenger, in terms of getting a contact's props etc.
Blackwar Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 MSN ofcourse...it is the most lightweight and compatible chat program ive used
babis Posted June 7, 2002 Posted June 7, 2002 there are quite a few mixe reviews... i guess one must try them all and then keep the one he/she feels most comfortable using..
Phyb3r Posted June 7, 2002 Posted June 7, 2002 MSN is what I use as its lightweight and easy. Though it does get problematic while connecting sometimes
Idontwantspam Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Helloooo? Where's XMPP (Jabber, Gtalk)!?!? Pretty much everyone I know has a gmail account, and as such we mostly use XMPP. I also have an MSN, Yahoo! and AIM account, as well as facebook chat, but I primarily use XMPP. I talk to people with facebook chat a lot as many people who don't have gmail use that, but I find it annoying and buggy. Facebook claims they'll be rolling out XMPP soon - that would be nice!
ReDucTor Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 IRC.Anyone who wants me and knows me and isnt on irc can call i reckon.I very rarely go on MSN too many anoying people on it.
joe43wv Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Where's Yahoo Messenger? Did Yahoo! kill it off?I'm with ya Aaron, I was disappointed when I seen Yahoo wasn't on there. Oh well I use AIM just as much so I guess everything will be fine.
