ChiefZeke Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 hellois there a way to wirelessly connect a monitor to a pcthanksThere is no wireless video card/adapter or monitor on the market today - answer , for now, is no.
Tripredacus Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Well at least not DESIGNED for use with a PC. However there is such thing as wireless television... to a point. Support for it is being tested in certain markets. You may be able to find consumer devices for it, but may be expensive and time consuming getting it to work with a PC. Might be better to wait for the technology to become more accessable.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_Home_Digital_Interface
allen2 Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 There already are some devices to allow wireless between a PC and a monitor (but they were originaly made for a TV): for example see this DLINK DPG-1200 PC-on-TV Media Player.
Ponch Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 There are also network KVM links, but I'm not sure wifi allows a sufficient bandwidth. Depending what your goal is. Is it for cosmetic purpose or a distance problem ?
jaclaz Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Of course they exist.Problem might be if you gonna like their price (examples):http://www.iogear.com/product/GUW2015VKIT/http://www.ramelectronics.net/wireless/wireless-hdmi/wireless-pc-to-hdtv-adapter-usb-av2010/prodUSBAV2010.htmlhttp://www.ramelectronics.net/computer-parts/computer-cables/monitor-cables/wireless-display-extension/gefen-gtv-wvga-sr/prodGTVWVGASR.htmlhttp://www.ramelectronics.net/wireless/wireless-vga/gefen-gtv-wvga-lr/prodGTVWVGALR.htmlIt must be really hard to live with a broken google....Above links found in under 5 miutes time googling for "VGA wireless"....jaclaz
puntoMX Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 It must be really hard to live with a broken google....Well, it s´cks that google likes to change it servers to the country you are in, giving way different results . I prefer Teh Cristal Ball to get additional information of what connections are used (eg. HDMI, VGA, DVI).
DonDamm Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 However, you can force Google to access given servers. When I was in Austria the default was to google.at, but there was always the option to go to google.com presented at the bottom. there were times I used google.co.uk and google.de or google.it when I needed to. Changing the default language for this can help.
jaclaz Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Well, it s´cks that google likes to change it servers to the country you are in, giving way different results . Are you implying that Italians do it better? Sure, that's a known fact. jaclaz

Changing the default language for this can help.Well, I tried to set it, but the only way I see is to change it by hand to .com after a search. I could be missing something. Default language is set indeed to English .Are you implying that Italians do it better? Sure, that's a known fact. You keep it by flat media, like those pizzas (besides the calzone (calzon is used for underwear in Spanish )) . Good stuff, and so is your help here.
Ponch Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Or you can use an iPad as wireless screen, even if "the app isn't really suitable for video playback support, and certainly shouldn't be used for gaming".
