Btw, thx for the links to the bulletins, Maxfutur, although several of 'em are wrong (I mean the description you put doesn't match the actual contents of the bulletins), sometimes they don't even apply to winXP. I guess M$ changed bulletin numbers at some point.

(example: bulletin 5)

You are right.

See the note:

Note: Sometimes Microsoft's guys make bulletins mix-up on when Bulletin Summary gets published, it means that Bulletin 15 would published as Bulletin 1 and so its link pointing out to /MS11-037.mspx

Thanks for the new Flash update.

Flash updated YET AGAIN!

This time it's ver 10.3.181.26.

Many thx!

List and file-checker will be updated asap (yesterday the updates were published lately, and the new MS-download-center is confusing me... ).

Mimo, got a question for ya...In one article, it says that 956803 is replaced by 2503665, but we've already replaced 956803 with a newer advisor, what should we do?

does 2503665 also replace the one used to replace 956803? I believe it also updatd other files (not only the ones in 956803).

Just a thought...

bye!

Just to understand it: Where have you found this information?

Just to understand it: Where have you found this information?

Bulletin/MS11-046

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS11-046.mspx

It includes afd.sys driver only.

KB2509553 includes about 7 files, included afd.sys, should be replaced by 2503665

KB2509553 (MS11-030: DNS Resolution) replaces KB951748 (MS08-037: DNS), KB956803 (MS08-066: Microsoft Ancillary Function Driver),...

From mimo's changelog:

KB956803 (MS08-066: Microsoft Ancillary Function Driver)

The optional KB958752 fixes problems coming with KB951748 and KB956803.

The security advisory KB957579 replaces KB951748, KB956803 and KB958752

That's what I'm talking about. 957579 replaces several other HFs, but now a newer one replaces 956803. So what about 957579 and the others it replaced?

Should we just keep 957579 and just replace 956803 with 2503665?

quite the situation here!

c ya!
