rhow Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Would there be any unforeseen consequences by including it in an integration anyway?
steven4554 Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Not really except as a superseded update, it will take up valuable bed space in your offline image, plus it will make your image bigger in size than it should be.
rhow Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Thanks, I'll just include it then as it makes WU look cleaner. Has anybody else had the IE11 issue with it continually opening the welcome page (that was before and after including KB2976627 in the image)? Might just use a script to add the registry entry until I know why it does it.
steven4554 Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 I never experienced that , I get the welcome screen when I first launch IE11 after installing Win7, but after that it no longer appears for me.

MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Hi Steven thanks for the latest update & all the best for 2015! 1
Nameless Mofo Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 @Steven: heads up, there is a new Flash release to patch a 0-day exploit. The Flash version your ULZ includes, 16.0.0.287, is affected. The fixed version IIRC is supposed to be 16.0.0.296. Just now read about it over at arstechnica.
steven4554 Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 Thanks, it's already in the ULZ's cause the direct download links are the same for the previous versions
vicgarin Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I think the following are missing: KB2532531KB2533623KB2534111KB2574819KB2592687KB2718704KB2731771KB2803821KB2830477KB2841134KB2847077KB2849696KB2849697KB2857650KB2862152KB2862973KB2882822KB2894844KB2923545KB2965788KB2970228KB2973351KB2976627KB2984972KB2984976KB2984981KB2985461KB2994023KB3003743KB3020387KB3020388KB971033KB976902
steven4554 Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 That's because most of the updates are superseded or Updates for certain features I don't provide updates for, like Remote Desktop. KB971033 is not in the list as it is a WGA checker, and not everyone wants it.KB976902 has been superseded by KB2533552.
PinkFreud Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I think the following are missing: Here's what I've come up with so far from your list of "missing" updates: KB2532531 Included in Security UpdatesKB2533623 superseded by KB2726535 (one of prerequisite for IE11)KB2574819 RDP (Steve doesn't include RDP updates, mentioned several times in this thread)KB2592687 RDPKB2718704 supersede by KB2949927KB2731771 superseded by KB2726535 (one of prerequisite for IE11)KB2803821 Included in WMP 12 UpdatesKB2830477 RDPKB2841134 IE 11 included in Optional UpdatesKB2847077 supersede by KB2949927KB2849696 IE 11 language pack, included in IE 11 install (I think)KB2857650 RDPKB2862973 Included in Security UpdatesKB2882822 one of IE 11 prerequisitesKB2894844 Included in .Net Frame 3.5.1 updatesKB2923545 RDPKB2965788 Superseded by KB3003743KB2970228 Included in Non-Security UpdatesKB2973351 Included in Security UpdatesKB2984976 RDPKB2994023 RDP 1
topstuff Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 The IE11-Windows6.1-KB3021952-x64.msu file in your lists I believe is a MS mistake which they fixed on the technet download links, but elsewhere? The correct size is 52,267,471 bytes and the SHA-1 is 33AE2C3AC484A0EE9BA13597938F7AD0FA210F7AThe one in your current list is 28,271,691 bytes and 34C3E214F853CE20E8E787276893FE210EBACBD6. I think MS used 32 bit IE11 one instead of 64 bit.

Yup, I noticed that yesterday, M$ Download Center had same link (32 bit) for 32 & 64 bit all day yesterday... also note that KB3021952 - IE 11 Cumulative Update is another "bundle" update thru WU that installs 3021952 & also KB3023607 ... so KB3023607 should be included in list... Download 3021952 thru M$ Catalog Updates includes both 3021952 (49mb) & 3023607 (5.2mb - 55mb total) - both must be integrated for clean WU tested in VM. Direct d/l link for KB3023607 x64 (from windows update log)
