kepzes Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Regards to all, this is my first posting and I believe that you will be gentle to me. I am looking for a tool/software that can manage my system registry files. I know that I can get them online but I need to try them before I actually use them so that I can be sure of the results.Any suggestions????
DigeratiPrime Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Welcome to MSFN Try CCleaner or nCleaner, both are free too.http://www.ccleaner.com/http://www.nkprods.com/ncleaner/
joe43wv Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Try Dtweak Pro. It has disk cleanup, disk defrag, registry cleanup as well as disk defrag. It's a free trial and runs pretty nice.http://www.daoisoft.com/
radigast Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 I am looking for a tool/software that can manage my system registry files.I love jv16PowerTools. Couldn't live without it. It cleans/compresses the registry, cleans/searches/batch-renames files, shows startup entries, etc....
aadipa Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 +1 for CCleaner. One of the best freewares.I am using it for long time and it is keeping my system very fine.
thedexmonster Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Ashampoo WinOptimizer, System Optimizer, Reg Cleaner, Disk Cleaner, Defrag... Check out website: http://www2.ashampoo.com/webcache/html/1/p...ct_2_1906__.htm
Jeremy Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 (edited) JV16 PowerTools 2008 FTW!The developer, Jouni Vuorio, was one of (if not the) the first to code a good registry cleaner sometime before 2003 with RegCleaner. It was a freeware tool but now he develops JV16 PowerTools as a shareware product.Unlike many other registry cleaners that simply remove invalid registry values, JV16 also attempts to repair and delete if irreparable. His product is very optimized, frequently updated and offers a ton of features not only for the registry but for files/folders as well.Oh, and his trial version does not limit the functionality at all. You have a fully featured product for 30 days. Edited June 20, 2008 by Jeremy
puntoMX Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 nCleaner I like too, but it seems they don´t update it as much as CCleaner. Still nCleaner does the job well .

sevenalive Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 The best registry cleaner is regseeker. Its free and it finds 100X more things than ccleaner or most other registry cleaners.
