Ultraform Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 I test it on VMware player and have it on USB :/My folder only have 49 files =( but i use the torrent in the Config_XP-64 and its been 100%
Kurt_Aust Posted September 21, 2013 Author Posted September 21, 2013 The torrent does NOT include the base .Net 3.5 installer or the DirectX redistributable due to their large size.Even without them you should have 50 files, do AccountInit.bat and WinUp.lnk exist?Here is the complete list of files for \Runonce (including yesterday's Adobe Flash update) Directory of D:\Operating_Systems\nLite\WinXP-64_sp2a\RunOnce21/09/2013 01:24 PM <DIR> .21/09/2013 01:24 PM <DIR> ..28/08/2013 11:06 PM 171 AccountInit.bat27/04/2011 05:22 PM 100,271,992 directx_Jun2010_redist.exe27/04/2011 06:16 PM 242,743,296 dotnetfx35.exe27/04/2011 05:54 PM 50,449,456 dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe21/09/2013 06:14 AM 17,154,952 install_flash_player_11_active_x.exe14/11/2012 04:01 PM 31,280,648 NDP20SP2-KB2729450-x64.exe09/01/2013 05:36 PM 20,742,168 NDP20SP2-KB2742596-x64.exe13/02/2013 05:04 PM 11,963,400 NDP20SP2-KB2789643-x64.exe15/05/2013 06:54 PM 990,232 NDP20SP2-KB2804577-x64.exe10/07/2013 04:47 PM 25,701,512 NDP20SP2-KB2833940-x64.exe20/08/2013 07:25 PM 13,179,024 NDP20SP2-KB2836941-v2-x64.exe14/08/2013 06:22 PM 4,959,896 NDP20SP2-KB2844285-v2-x64.exe27/04/2011 05:25 PM 19,282,272 NDP20SP2-KB958481-x64.exe09/01/2013 05:44 PM 38,960,168 NDP30SP2-KB2756918-x64.exe10/07/2013 04:52 PM 35,274,376 NDP30SP2-KB2832411-x64.exe20/12/2008 04:38 PM 17,262,944 NDP30SP2-KB958483-x64.exe09/05/2012 05:04 PM 877,680 NDP35SP1-KB2604111-x64.exe09/01/2013 05:37 PM 1,532,952 NDP35SP1-KB2736416-x64.exe13/06/2013 04:43 PM 1,779,848 NDP35SP1-KB2836940-x64.exe10/07/2013 05:04 PM 1,681,544 NDP35SP1-KB2840629-x64.exe27/04/2011 05:29 PM 1,472,352 NDP35SP1-KB958484-x64.exe27/04/2011 05:50 PM 759,144 NDP35SP1-KB963707-x64.exe20/06/2011 05:45 PM 28,640,160 NDP40-KB2468871-v2-x64.exe10/08/2011 05:07 PM 2,140,520 NDP40-KB2487367-x64.exe10/08/2011 06:30 PM 39,121,768 NDP40-KB2533523-x64.exe15/02/2012 03:41 PM 33,566,328 NDP40-KB2600217-x64.exe09/05/2012 05:13 PM 40,175,720 NDP40-KB2604121-x64.exe30/12/2011 09:02 AM 9,293,416 NDP40-KB2656351-x64.exe14/11/2012 04:07 PM 26,263,520 NDP40-KB2729449-x64.exe09/01/2013 05:38 PM 2,324,448 NDP40-KB2736428-x64.exe14/11/2012 03:54 PM 16,049,632 NDP40-KB2737019-x64.exe09/01/2013 05:33 PM 13,309,984 NDP40-KB2742595-x64.exe13/02/2013 05:02 PM 4,256,248 NDP40-KB2789642-x64.exe15/05/2013 06:53 PM 1,555,984 NDP40-KB2804576-x64.exe10/07/2013 04:55 PM 16,980,608 NDP40-KB2832407-x64.exe10/07/2013 04:41 PM 23,943,800 NDP40-KB2835393-x64.exe26/08/2013 07:30 PM 9,341,576 NDP40-KB2836939-v2-x64.exe14/08/2013 06:16 PM 18,157,704 NDP40-KB2840628-v2-x64.exe14/08/2013 07:30 PM 446,200 rootsupd.exe04/01/2013 07:53 PM 164,000 rvkroots.exe17/06/2011 02:38 PM 3,175,832 vcredist_x64_2005sp1c.exe17/06/2011 02:53 PM 5,207,896 vcredist_x64_2008sp1c.exe10/08/2011 04:38 PM 10,274,136 vcredist_x64_2010sp1c.exe17/06/2011 02:39 PM 2,707,352 vcredist_x86_2005sp1c.exe17/06/2011 02:53 PM 4,479,832 vcredist_x86_2008sp1c.exe10/08/2011 04:39 PM 8,990,552 vcredist_x86_2010sp1c.exe27/04/2011 05:37 PM 10,334,496 WindowsServer2003-KB968930-x64-ENG.exe09/03/2011 05:02 AM 4,933,504 WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB2481109-x64-ENU.exe10/04/2013 05:33 PM 3,871,880 WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB2813345-x64-ENU.exe27/04/2011 05:49 PM 872,312 WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB961118-x64-ENU.exe12/09/2013 07:37 PM 7,834,471 WindowsUpdateAgent30-x64.exe29/08/2013 07:25 AM 2,415 WinUp.lnk 52 File(s) 986,832,896 bytes 2 Dir(s) 554,314,686,464 bytes free
Ultraform Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 hmm i checked all files and try again i missed the dotnetfx35.exe but same problem! Can it be the VMware Player that is the problem ant dont want to install the runonce?https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/free#desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_player/5_0
Kurt_Aust Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 While not having used VMware player myself, I would note that the install works in VMware server, so I can't see that being an issue. Try changing the "TimeOut /T 40" at step 7 to "Pause" and inserting a "Pause" command in Run1_XP-64.bat just before "rem dotNet 2.0/3.5 + PowerShell". Then run the install again and see what happens at those points.
Ultraform Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 No different :/I try this in the bat file."%Source%RunOnce\rootsupd.exe /Q%Source%RunOnce\rvkroots.exe /QPauserem dotNet 2.0/3.5 + PowerShell%Source%RunOnce\vcredist_x86_2005sp1c.exe /Q /T:%Temp%\VC8x86 /C"gonna try like this"Pause rem dotNet 2.0/3.5 + PowerShell"
Kurt_Aust Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 I try this in the bat file. "%Source%RunOnce\rootsupd.exe /Q %Source%RunOnce\rvkroots.exe /Q Pause rem dotNet 2.0/3.5 + PowerShell %Source%RunOnce\vcredist_x86_2005sp1c.exe /Q /T:%Temp%\VC8x86 /C" That is correct for error checking, did the batch file find and try to execute the .Net installer or did you get a string of "file not found" messages?

Kurt_Aust Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 (edited) Gash =( Nothing happen :/ Is that {A} the batch file didn't launch at all or {B} the batch file ran but didn't execute any installers? Edited September 25, 2013 by Kurt_Aust

submix8c Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 O/T (but not much)...I have a VERY silly question, if anyone can answer this.According to this -http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969393IE7 for XP and Server 2003 x64 w/SP2 has TWO different versions available, but my findings show=== NO CLUE about the following one: An RC? 7.00.5730.1100 Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003**** 7.00.5730.1300 Internet Explorer 7 ** FOLLOWING ONE IS ONLY OFFERED (both x86 and x64)**** 7.00.5730.1300 Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003n/a 7.00.6000.16386 Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Vista (included in Vista, which SvcPack?)**** 7.00.6000.16441 Internet Explorer 7 ** FOLLOWING TWO ARE NOT OFFERED ** (vista_gdr.070219-1500?) 7.00.6000.16441 Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Server 2003 SP2 x64 ???WHERE??? 7.00.6000.16441 Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP SP2 x64 ???WHERE???n/a 7.00.6001.1800 Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Server 2008 and for Windows Vista SP1when looking for the supposed later version. Please note that the Versions checked were according to the "IEXPLORE.EXE". Interestingly, the one downloaded from the WSUS list predates the Offered one but are exactly the same file (Feb05,2007 vs Aug14,2007).It LOOKS like some kind of misinformation/error on MS' part. Did they include some "version" based upon a Fix/Update/Hotfix?Asking because planning on installing x64 on one or two machines and it just seemed, well, ODD...
Kurt_Aust Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 All things considered I wouldn't put too much faith in such documentation, often the notes for current releases are wrong let alone a page that hasn't been updated in over a year. The most up to date version of IE7 is 7.0.6000.21357 (from KB2879017) while the most recent installer ships with version 7.0.5730.13
