  1. I don't see it at all Here's what I have [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center] "FirstRunDisabled"=dword:00000001 "AntiVirusDisableNotify"=dword:00000001 "FirewallDisableNotify"=dword:00000001 "UpdatesDisableNotify"=dword:00000001 "AntiVirusOverride"=dword:00000001 "FirewallOverride"=dword:00000000
  2. There is however a drawback, this only work's like once then system create's it again. You edit the registry permission's. Wanted to get this here before someone else say's it don't work....So I have this saved to my drive and no idea where it came from. NOTICE: You can LOCK yourself out of thing's editing permission's, you're on your own. I know what I'm doing or either I think I do.
  3. My ? is after slipping SP2 should you change the Volume label to indicate that? Would there be problem's with activation or anything anyone know's of? WXPOEM_EN becomes VRMPOEM_EN I'm not using nLite
  4. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder Delete Start Menu or Start Menu2 subkey's depending on which you use Can also delete Favorites there if you want that auto Once you reboot it start's doing it. http://www.winguides.com/registry/category.php/16/
  5. hehe I had to do the same thing. Just move it up a little to make it work right, that's strange and there is no explanation. Didn't know you had other stuff in there.
  6. k but you said (I did this before SP2). so misunderstanding I would go ask this question in nLIte forum and post link here, he can only improve or correct thing's he know's. As far as the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services set them back to a 2 or a 3 and see if that help's. I don't know exactly what nLite remove's for each one and whether something happened during removal so no telling what happened. I don't see the obvious thing's that would cause this like Service's: Window's Installer
  7. Sorry, I copied that out of my UnattendXP program and it add's it to RunoncEX automatically and it turn's out right. iREX is just a value that auto assign's the number for each thing I add and increment's for next thing. Here's the actual in RunoncEX REM Cleaning Up REG ADD %KEY%\1020 /VE /D "Cleaning Up and Rebooting" /f REG ADD %KEY%\1020 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\Install\cleanup.cmd" /f
  8. anza your command is correct for shutdown you are calling Cleanup.cmd from runoncEX? mine at end of RunoncEX is REG ADD %KEY%\" & iREX & " /V 1 /D ""%systemdrive%\Install\cleanup.cmd"" /f yours may differ a little cause that's my program add's value's
  9. lol found that source a long time ago and never compiled it May compile on my own cause i do see the problem's it does.
  10. I hate to confuse you but it would be simpler if you just copied OfficeXP folder to the install folder and make it short like this REG ADD %KEY%\iAdd /V Inum /D "%systemdrive%\Install\Office\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=\"%systemdrive%\Install\Office\office.mst\" /qn" /f Forget the Applicatons folder thing cause it's unnecessary All that doies is tell it to look on %systemdrive% for the Install folder and do it's thing.
  11. Use UnattendSwitch only when you perform an unattended Setup with Winnt.exe, Winnt.sif, and the CD boot method.
  12. Couple other things missing this is a Generic Winnt.sif that work's ;SetupMgrTag [Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" [Unattended] AutoActivate="no" CrashDumpSetting="0" DisableDynamicUpdates=Yes DriverSigningPolicy="Ignore" FileSystem=NTFS Hibernation=0 UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=No Repartition=Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS UnattendSwitch="yes" [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=* EncryptedAdminPassword=NO OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=20 OemSkipWelcome=1 [UserData] ProductKey=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx FullName="User" OrgName="MyOwn" ComputerName=* [TapiLocation] Dialing=Tone AreaCode=xxx [Branding] BrandIEUsingUnattended=Yes [Proxy] Proxy_Enable=0 Use_Same_Proxy=1 [Identification] JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP [Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes
  13. You're also missing [unattended] UnattendSwitch=Yes
  14. No if you slipping SP2 you need ProductKey looking
  15. Wait you have ProductKey Userdata usually looks like this [userData] ProductKey=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx FullName="Thatsme" OrgName="MyOrg" ComputerName=54HtsTy
  16. Notice in [userData] ProductID renamed ProductKey with SP1 CD or later otherwise use ProductID
  17. Uh yeah For one you don't need SP1 if you slip SP2 ok, SP2 has all the stuff Don't nlIte work on SP2? if so wipe totatally clean then slip SP2 and try again.
  18. Nope have to do the Fdisk thing first with a 98 or ME floppy. and on XP why? I have a floppy drive method here if you want http://www.maxxpsoft.com/xpinstall.php?
  19. ahhh ok Funny what we get used to and stick by Formatting over just don't seem right for some reason on these large disk's. Guess we used to the old method's, Fdisk day's.
  20. Well my apology to you Most my remark's were at Prath cause me and him been around awhile. I never saw that * thing and was unbelieving. I still choose to delete though. That's just a matter of personal preference cause i want it clean, I also don't want to delete or format the wrong thing. I say the system does the partitioniong because I don't actually choose the screen where you go in and type out the size. So in reality to me it does it on it's own, it impressed me the first time it ran in XP and I said what?, surely it didn't do that in that short time. They've come a long way. Still my translation of Ne nazivaj nikoga glupim is rather strange.
  21. Or in Cleanup.cmd I simply add this regsvr32 /u /s zipfldr.dll regsvr32 /u /s cabview.dll
  22. I think i recognize that ip, Starband ? I'm not sure what you're trying to do but I import a reg file and mine is setup. Check "ProxyServer" under this key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings] I save and import the whole key. But mine is a workstation on a LAN so not sure that would help you if you're directly connected.
  23. Beetaazz That Administrator account exists behind the scenes. Reboot into safe mode you'll find it as a logon option. Its a backdoor into your PC if you don't set a password on that account. 1 thing I don't like that Mikeysoft done that way.
