  1. I have followed the following guide http://www.msfn.org/board/lofiversion/index.php/t55405.html The install runs flawless. My problem is that after rebooting the activasion procedure starts. My impression from the guide is that this could be avoided if I followed the guide. Is it not possible to skip the activasion or have I done something wrong?
  2. I’ve have used my unattended install on a couple of computers whit out any problems, but this time I am facing problems that I don’t know how to solve Problem 1. $Docs isn’t copied. Problem 2. My unattended version does not include any changes on themes, but the computers boots with the classic Windows theme. When I try to change it the computer freezes. Problem 3. I’ve changed the default wallpaper, but it boots with Windows XP default. I’m using [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\General] "BackupWallpaper"="c:\\windows\\web\\wallpaper\\name.jpg" "Wallpaper"="c:\\windows\\web\\wallpaper\\name.jpg" And at last another question that isn’t related to the above. I want to delete a wallpaper where the name contains a unique Danish letter. Running the batch file tells that the name couldn’t be found (the path is correct, but the Danish letter can’t be recognized).
  3. Sorry I see. I tried to search before posting, but I only found the second link that was mentioned and from that it could not find the first one. And therefore I asked because if new from the link it had found that a solution was possible.
  4. So it would be better if I in my command lines added copy \destination folder to %systemdrive\win.ini ?
  5. The calculator plus creates a new folder in the start menu. The old calculator in scientific mode is enough for me, since I never calculate between liters and gallons etc. I can't find the win.ini so I guess I'll have to create it. Where should it be placed and should other be deleted if I add win.ini?
  6. Does somebody have a reg tweak so that my unattended XP DVD will have the culculator in scientific mode as defualt?
  7. When I install DAP with my unattended XP DVD a window with registration opens, when DAP is installed. How do I disable this window? I'm using START %systemdrive%\install\Programmer\DAP\DAP71.exe /VERYSILENT /SP- SLEEP 60 PSKILL DAP71.exe
  8. Continued my search and found out that I just can use the integrate command
  9. I'm a bit unsure how to slipstream hotfixes for SP2. I've looked at http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/installhotfixes_old.htm Can I still use the file name svcpack.inf? Will the hotfixes for SP2 still be divied in Type 1 og 2 and if so how can I distinguish them?
  10. Of course but is default sufficient for an average PC?
  11. I guess there is no reason to add them then? If the default setting has enough drivers to handle most SATA drives?
  12. but will the SATA drive(s) be recognized during the install, so that Windows can be installed on the SATA drive?
  13. I'm considering to slipstream SATA drivers on to my unattended Xp SP2 unsing the method described in the following link http://greenmachine.msfnhosting.com/READING/addraid.htm My concers are that I do not have SATA drivers now, but I bilive I'll have it in the future. So can I integrate SATA drivers and still use the unattended DVD on my non SATA computer? I have read threads about the SATA drivers, but cound't find an answer to my question
  14. You should put the batch file in %systemdrive%\install so ex. %systemdrive%\install\batch.cmd or or what the name is. And the you must refer to the batch file in winnt.sif
