@XPero I'm trying to figure out what you mean Both of those are wrong man or [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AlwaysUnloadDLL] @="1" I think Microsoft has the correct way since, uhhh they wrote it. What you see on that MS link is the application of Regini.exe, it does not mean AlwaysUnloadDLL is on separate line as a Reg Value, it's a Key with a @ value.

The %userprofile% will copy that to the currently logged on user, meaning you unless you want it to go to all.
-
No %ALLUSERSPROFILE%=C:\Documents and Settings\All Users
-
This I use in Cleanup.cmd and it works copy %systemdrive%\Install\Quicklaunch\*.* "%userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch" /Y /Y tells it to overwrite existing.

Force DLL To Unload From Memory IS WrongCreate a new sub-key named 'AlwaysUnloadDLL' and set the default value to equal '1' to disable Windows caching the DLL in memory. Restart Windows for the change to take effect. http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_d.htm or http://support.microsoft.com/?id=196480 IS WrongAnywhere this in reg tweak file "Default" don't work out right see below. EDIT: I only seen it this one place. If you import this you end up with 2 keys just try and see. For it to be default it needs to be @ This is correct application of default [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AlwaysUnloadDLL] @="1" Important This registry key is no longer supported in Microsoft Windows 2000 or later. http://support.microsoft.com/?id=196480 I still use it cause it do seem to work, that trying to delete file thing and it saying it in use seem's to work quicker with this added.

Get this shortcut.exe and use it, I even use it in RunoncEX shortcut.exe /f:"%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\SuperScan.lnk" /a:c /t:"%programfiles%\SuperScan\scanner.exe" /W:"%programfiles%\SuperScan"

maxXPsoft replied to strangefruit's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
YES look through this whole forum ok there's multiple posts about dual CD's -
be more specific cause i totally don't understand what you mean which app? or beter Read the http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/index.htm you can go to any drive and wherever but you got to work on it YOURSELF with a little help from the good people at MSFN
-
Well I merged it after first saving mine then you go open it and look at right hand column , had some differences. I copy my Quicklaunch folder over on Setup doing Unattend and will try it with this also to see if it's enabled afterward's. That be great.
-
Unattended was'nt my intention I studied this as I've said and I couldn't get it to apply. I'm working on the dll call's though, they are a mystery by themselve's.
-

That's one of those thing's i messed with for day's on end padre if you a tweaker then check this out and see what you think http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=28003 I can use tweaker's

BETA: XP Home or Pro Tweaking System
maxXPsoft replied to maxXPsoft's topic in Windows Tips 'n' Tweaks
What no bravery except Xtreme*** hehe I'm not afraid, been doing this reg thing since Mikey invented the reg. Just need tester's Graphic's designer's also to help make this thing look better. I've started adding the SP2 stuff. -
I think I answered this already somewhere That's a dll call and impossible at the moment, but who know's maybe someone will come up with something.
-
Tusborg Only thing is it be better to copy that Reg key from your registry. That way what you have setup will be added.
-
Anything better then RegSnap?
maxXPsoft replied to Aviator747's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
IMHO InstallWatch Pro = FREE NO Brag just facts It exports to .reg files that are fully functional and look like the real thing not that other crap. Tracks all Hives individually, will export the same way Also it will track file changes, regsnap nope, regshot nope or any other that I know of. I've even seen it get Key's that are not visible. yep they exist I've tried them all except as below swampy Never seen that Prism Deploy before so i'm off to test it, is it FREE?? Hope so cause above is. That rates a "0" "We'll email you the serial number when you install the evaluation of Prism Deploy" -
I am looking for BETA tester's for my application. maxXPsoft XP Tweaking System for Home or Pro? This is a pretty complete/immense Reg tweaking program. Yes it's done in Visual Basic but so what, It work's. I would compare it to the level of TweakXP as I've used it also in the past, just not lately. For the Unattender's, you apply a tweak but did it set? This show's it and it will also remove it if needed. A simple On Off switch if you need be. maxXPsoft XP Home/Pro tweaking system Get the most of your XP experience by fixing some of the cosmetic appearances, slowness, security problems and speed problems. Access system restore properties and set them to a better configuration. Configure the services that run in the background hogging your resources and slowing you up. Volume Lable - Does it matter what it is?
maxXPsoft replied to Dynamite's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
k thanks MHz Just not sure about changing it because of Mikey's activation thing's, I also don't want to get all setup and do the activation and it tell's me I have to call Mikey, that would suck since i own this CD and you only get maybe 8 time's to call before they bandit you I read. Usually tacktech has been right but I don't know for sure. Hope so, I parsed all them labels and set them up in an Labels.ini I use in my own Unattended program. -
