  6. Have only recently looked into including my drivers to my ua disk & have been a little reserved in doing so till now. I reckon Bâshrat the Sneaky's version rocks & much simpler than Green machines no offense keep up the excellent work dude.
  7. Nah good with the cable select option updated the bios but may need to update the IAA as mentioned in other post. EDIT: No good with the IAA upgrade,didn't wanna say it but may be time for a Mobo upgrade guess thats how it is?

  10. Gigabyte GA-81EXP approx two years old? Their site does not mention bios update for large HD support?
  11. Just purchased a WD 200 Gb 8mb cache drive iniatlised in windows, formatted. However under properties it merely shows 127Gb? I was under the impression XP had large HD support??
  12. I just included this in my unattended DVD but as installing the drivers it seems to take a very long time & hangs?? simply used this in my batch: ECHO. ECHO Installing ATI XP driver.... ECHO Please wait... start /wait %systemdrive%\INSTALL\APPLICATIONS\ATI\setup /K original driver extracted to folder of course. If you manually run this batch in windows works like a charm??
  13. I'll second that a very simple & effective way to package installers unattendly.

Just my two bobs worth, I simply connect both computers through the network crossover cable or router & use the inbuilt XP network setup wizard & find I don't need to create the floppy & both machines connect like a charm. Just need to share the various drives etc. No disabling firewalls in SP2 either.

  19. Thanks dude thought it may be dropped in: OEM\$Docs\Documents and Settings\User or All users\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book Will outlook express pick this as the default?
  20. Is there a simple way I can export or copy my existing windows copy of the address book .WBA to my unattended disk for later installation. Merry Christmas

  24. In the process of making an Autoit script for my Scanning software having a couple of problems at the Install now gui won,t automatically switch the installer? Can someone have a look at the script & maybe offer a suggestion? Paperport link http://www.scansoft.com/ Im presently using Ver8.0 bundled with my scanner.
