  2. The formal announcement came out today:
  3. There isn't really an urgent need for this.... We'll be upgrading to 2.1 soon, so this bug might go away by itself.
  4. Download - http://messenger.msn.com. More details - http://www.mess.be
  5. And why was this posted in Dev Center? (=wrong section)
  6. http://www.skype.com/products/skype/windows/changelog.html The 1.4 series is finally out of beta, and final now!
  7. Not just you, its happening for me too.
  8. Forget about the OWC10, its not even installed in most cases. Its not slipstreamable for me too - neither SP1 nor SP2.

  10. Hi,Its detailed in the guide here, step-by-step - http://unattended.msfn.org/intermediate/ap...ipstreaming.htm
  11. Confirmed, the old version (which I posted initially) was poor. The new version gives good DL and UL speeds. Next, DHT support would be nice... EDIT: Looks like there's big-time demand for it already, over at their forums - LINK
  12. There is!There is a patch for it, floating around in cracker world....
  13. Or, just simply get the RC1 on bit-torrent: http://borft.student.utwente.nl:6969/
  14. Get the ZIP version of bitcomet from here - http://download.bitcomet.com/achive/ Then, you just need to unzip it, then make a self-extracting RAR of it to extract into %programfiles%. Then put a shortcut into all-users startmenu.
  15. Yes, that's another update required - LINK.But then, its not really a part of SP2 - its just an independant update - released almost a year ago. Nope, its not the CIW.
  16. Plus, its scheduling features is nice...
  17. Final release should be around late October. Actually, since beta2 itself, it was already said that unless any more (rare) bugs are found, its going to be renamed as final. In other words, there's going to be hardly any difference between Beta2,RC1, & final. So its very close to release. Its beginning to be nice now, actually - its fast, looks decent, and beats MS office on a few features (export to PDF, flash).
  18. Thanks Zxian. Lucius Snow, the same MST can be used, no changes needed. Here's the complete SP2 set of downloads. For administrators who need to update their Office 2003 install source (of the 5 CD set, i mean) - this is a comprehensive list. Office 2003 (base) & FrontPage 2003 docu http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/b...ullFile-ENU.exe (101.9 MB) Visio 2003 docu http://download.microsoft.com/download/c/3...ullFile-ENU.exe (34.5 MB) Project 2003 docu http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/e...ullFile-ENU.exe (35.1 MB) Project Server 2003 docu http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/d...SQLFile-ENU.EXE (209 KB) http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/d...WSSFILE-ENU.EXE (243 KB) http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/d...ullFile-ENU.exe (22.2 MB) OneNote 2003 docu http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/1...ullFile-ENU.exe (30.9 MB) Proofing Tools Pack for Office 2003 docu http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/a...ullFile-ENU.exe (30.6 MB) SharePoint Services SP2 docu http://download.microsoft.com/download/3/2...ullFile-ENU.exe (5.1 MB)
  19. FP 2003 makes use of the same file/update as the main office2003 set. In other words, download #1 (the 104 MB file), thats the same SP2 update, to be used for both, the office2k3 CD1 (base) as well as CD2 (FP 2003).
  20. So, basically SP2 for o2k3, is not adding any features, right?
  21. You need to modify the MSI. Please search since I must've posted about it atleast a few tens of times.
  22. For gaming, N-Gage QD is best. (the non-QD model runs older firmware, plus design is slightly less comfortable, thats the only difference, so I'll consider both to be the same). The QD has a keypad layout specifically made for gaming, plus its built-in speakers can pump plenty of volume. Another feature to be considered in context of gaming, is that the N-Gage is designed to have the MMC inserted & removed without having to turn off the phone. The 6600 is useless - anyone considering purchase of it, has got to be dumb. The 6600 is very similar to N-Gage except that it has a poor-quality camera in addition (640x480). Also, the 6600's keypad layout is pretty bad for gaming. The 3230 is a higher version of 6600. The 3230 is a lot faster than 6600 & N-Gage. Also, the 3230 has a mega-pixel camera (allowing upto 1280x960 photos). Moreover, the 3230's screen can display 65,536 colors, while N-Gage can only display 4096 colors. So, 3230 seems to be best for gaming - but then, keypad layout is important & thats why the N-Gage QD wins. * topic moved to "handheld devices" forum
  23. XP supports dual-processor, but under-utilizes it. For example, if you go to task manager, you find XP running both processors at 50% CPU usage each. Whereas Svr2k3 utilises closer to 97% Actually it was win2k that introduced AD.But still, even then, win2k pro & winXP pro can only JOIN a domain, only server can HOST it, or run as Primary/Secondary/Backup Domain Controller.
  24. More bloat than ever! Yay!
