  1. Er.... thanks?? Shouldn't this be in "Technology news" forum? Thx for the PROPERTY=VALUE info though.
  2. You could follow a tutorial made here ( http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/76/ ). This saves all your theme related info like vis. styles, cursors, backgrounds etc.
  3. I don't personally recommend using the recovery console to recover from Windows because you get loadz of errors. I format it straight off. I keep important files on another partition so I don't lose it. And what do you mean by you have both sp1 and sp2 installed Just back up all your files and format is my best answer.
  4. Well you need something to play music don't you Most media players work if you simply minimize them. WMP has a "toolbar mode" which is kinda like a remote control. Winamp should work just by minimizing it. But what M$ call "integrated music and video playback in windows" is WMP.
  5. Try disabling Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing service, or if you use ICS disable Windows Firewall w/the control panel. I suck on embedded not knowing what it is but it fixed that on my desktop pc. Try removing internet explorer on nlite. (If you can nlite a XPe source)
  6. Due to a lot of ppl saying stuff about KB917283 not being installed ( http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=78856 , Xpainity's response) and other threads, I say this is a bug on the M$ side. I tried to contact them but no go
  7. As far as I know, you can't integrate it, you have to install it silently. This may help ---> http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/82/
  8. Try opening the exe normally, don't install it or anything, but browse to %temp% and look around (Start>Run>%temp%>OK).
  9. @ricktendo64 That's the structure of their setup, but windows is designed to be installed from one cd so how to split it?
  10. No. Extract the MSP files from the EXE using WinRar (http://rarlabs.com) and use those command.
  11. @kostas2000 it's not good manners to sign up for a msfn account just for gmail. PM me ur email address. I have 120 left Keeps me happy But what difference does it make to me???
  12. Seagate all the way
  13. $m0K!ñg ©4ñ g0 t0 H3ll... *4H3m*
  14. Alternate Rock and rap/hip-hop.
  15. PowerArchiver... does ANYONE use XP's in build zipfldrs.dll???
  16. Spyware, too much installed software, do use registry cleaners or disk cleaners? I'd recommend Tuneup utilities. http://www.tune-up.com
  17. Wrong topic. Should be in "Windows XP"? Or "Hardware Discussions"?
  18. You could put e.g. inno setup setup.exes into APPS\INNO and all it there, InstallShields into APPS\INSTALLSHIELD etc and you would be able to call it. Thanks Siginet, you saved me typing every entry in svcpack.inf!
  19. Go Siggy! I've updated my sig (PS Sticky this topic ?)
  20. You have to open it as a zip file or sfx archive (if option is directly supported) in WinRar, PowerArchiver, WinZip etc. SOmewhere inside are inf files and other sys, dlls, cat and dirs in the same dir as the infs. Xtract the whole folder w/the infs and integrate w/nlite.
  21. nLite can do it you know!!!
  22. Use a switchless? GOOGLE PERHAPS??? http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2067
  23. Er... Windows Media Player??? If it's windows setup installation background, try googling for mplayer.
  24. I don't know what miniPE is but if it's something like BartPE, you could go on another pc and take an image w/ghost or something.
  25. Maybe you can not integrate it but put it in Guirunonce or Runonceex and apply it?
