    nlite 1.01 VS RC7

    It should delete %source%\i386\rvmtemp automatically.
  3. I'm not the only one having this prob, a thread started back went on to having problems about "the whining of MU". I am running a 32-bit of windows xp home and guess what... I'm on x86 It's a bug on the MS side, so is there maybe a regtweak or something to trick MU and WU into thinking it's installed (even though it is )?
  4. Are your drivers digitally signed? Are there any .cat files next to your INFs? DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore in winnt.sif doesn't usually work. Try removing ALL other drivers for that device (e.g. a nic, remove all ethernet drivers) in nlite so windoze has no choice but to install those drivers. There was a method to sign drivers yourself but it doesn't work now, I can't remember it anyway.
  5. You could google and save me a lot of time Winrar sfx it is a good idea. admin installs only work w/MSIs and if you delete a file from an admin poiint, it won't install. ie: "msiexec /a <path_to_msi>\packagename.msi"
  6. I just posted a topic on this 5 mins ago. MU and WU keep whining about it. This is a bug on the M$ side.
  7. Can you post a mst because I don't like editing msis. Thnx.
  8. That's not firefox...
  9. Hi all. MU and WU keep whining about KB92248. I applied the patch what seems like 300 times but it keeps going on about it. Can anyone help? Thnx. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en

    the future

It's still a request however far-fetched or easy it is to do.
  11. But my view... "Hibernating: keep away, far away!" All the time for me, all my hibernating is always unsuccessful but try it.
  12. You could download Trixie which is kinda like an IE Clone of greasemonkey for firefox and make a script to block intellitxt.com ads but I don't know how. http://www.bhelpuri.net/Trixie/
  13. Howz about Nero 7 Lite Works actually, better than the original and was created by hp8guser of this forum. @ -I- (nice screenname ): the quotes from any website try and make it sound really professional to sell their product.

    nlite 1.01 VS RC7

<off-topic> Maybe there should be popups periodically saying "register nlite for only <currency+amount> to get rid of these popups" lol </off-topic> Maybe you integrated hotfixes in one and not the other? UpdatePacks? Addons?
  15. Remove US language in nLite. Remove ALL of the other languages then you won't need entries in ur winnt.sif for language options as en-gb will be the only one available. If ur setup is localized w/en-us (ie it is fully integrated w/us) then I can't help you. Your winnt.sif looks right when I compare it w/mine.
  16. Hi hp8hguser. Thanks for a GREAT app! Now I don't have to download 100mb everytime I format! (yes I know what a ua disc is but if i put nero 7 full in, I'll have to use a dvd) Just one thing, when I close Burning Rom, it closes fine but the M$ error reporting tool comes up. Don't know if it's a bug on the M$ side or the repackaging but I thought I'd say.
  17. It's updated. Latest build is actually 5470.
  18. And it's also a good idea Googling the net, not just the forum http://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/
  19. I get the error that says something about not being able to access "table 221" in explorer.exe
  20. It still doesn't work after converting my fat32 to ntfs via convert.exe When opening bcdedit /enum all, the "windows legacy os loader" points to <partition>\ntldr instead of <partition>\ntldr.sys I know it needs file extensions as Windows memory tester points to memtest.exe, w/the exe extension. How do I change this? Ths
  21. I have problems w/out systray and some websites say it's problematic too.
  22. Can't wait for 48-bit LBA on 98Se!
  23. All you need are explorer.exe and systray.exe
  24. Found the solution, I xtracted the installer and put the driver files w/the *.inf and *.cat into c:\windows\inf and it worked
  25. I know some hardware installs w/vista, some won't so I'd ask if anyone has vista drivers for canon pixma mp110 printer/scanner. I've been googling and it has come up in other forums but no answer. Are there any M$ drivers or something? Are there any generic drivers for all or something? Thanks.
