  1. lol did you even downloaded it? Did you open it? Geez Xplode is a scriptable program to let you handle all the programs/hotfixes installations/programs to run/whatever you want, in a simple manner and in top of all it has a nice gui.It has both options (batch and selectable) for you to choose. Poke around with it there's no better way to know what that is
  2. Yeah my guess is power surges...buy yourself a UPS
  3. Have you checked out AveDesk? Not sure if thats what you want though

    Xplode 4.1

Looking good so far...i've been expecting that selection thingie done to mess around with it... Thank you. If you need some help testing it...just ask
  5. I think that if you sysprep your current installation the next time you boot it will ask for your key and a couple of other thingies (15 min wasted tops), no need to repair, reinstall..whatever. Thats what i did in Win2k anyway...not sure if it works in Winxp. Be careful testing it.
  6. MCE = Media Center Edition... Did you try to burn the contents of both cds into one dvd normally? i think the setup program only checks if some file exists or not, if it doesnt it just asks for the second cd...if it exists the setup continues.
  7. That happens because you have hotfixes slipstreamed through svcpack. Try to remove it and try again
  8. Theres a file in the root of your hdd called boot.ini you can edit it.
  9. It seems great...i havent tested it yet, but from the pics ...congratulations.
  10. Something in the winnt.sif is mispelled probably... Offtopic: Good to see a FCP avatar here.
  11. It get scarier I just finished it yesterday...lots of fun and thrill. Have fun playing it
  12. @Benjamin I'm really sorry to be such a pain but...yeah you are right...if it goes unnatended it pops up unchecked and everything fine, but if i change any of the sub tree items, it gains again...and its executed, even though it doesnt appear in the log file.
  13. First I'd like to thank Benjamin for the amazing app you have done...you are the one to blame for having me to rewrite my whole system of appz instalations . I've been writing my own ini and i've come with a small glitch i dont know how to overcome...its not a big deal...but im a little perfeccionist. Following theres a part of my file ; Sub command 1 description.1=Internet Explorer 6 command.1=%CURDIR%\other\ie6sp1\ie6setup.exe /Q:A /R:N selected.1 = 1 key.1.0=HKLM:Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Build?>62800.1106 hidden.1=0 ; Sub command 1.0 description.1.0=Nothing command.1.0=cmd.exe /c @echo Nothing selected.1.0 = 0 hidden.1.0=1 ; Sub command 1.1 description.1.1=Internet Explorer 6 Updates command.1.1=cmd.exe /c @echo Nothing selected.1.1 = 1 hidden.1.1=0 ; Sub command 1.1.0 description.1.1.0=Actualização acumulada de segurança para o Internet Explorer 6 SP1 (KB824145) command.1.1.0=%CURDIR%\hotfixes\q824145.exe /Q:A /R:N selected.1.1.0 = 1 hidden.1.1.0=0 ; Sub command 1.1.1 description.1.1.1=330994: Abril de 2003 - Actualização de segurança para o Outlook Express 6 SP1 command.1.1.1=%CURDIR%\hotfixes\q330994.exe /Q:A /R:N selected.1.1.1 = 1 hidden.1.1.1=0 I will use this in two ways...following an unatended instalation of win2k...where there shouldnt be a problem since i want to install all of that. The problem occurs when i only want to update a system where i have ie6 already installed and only want to install the patchs in an automatic way...Some help with a workaround someone? Once again...claps for Benjamin...thank you very much.
  14. I did search, but i forgot to change the value of the days...it was older than 30 days. My bad. Thank you.

  16. well too late now...i moved along...maybe next time i start the game again thx
  17. Hi...you stated that some users have some updates installed... quote from microsoft.com: We recommend that you not install the RC2 version of SP2 on computers that are running the latest security updates. Instead, install the final version of Windows XP SP2 when it becomes available. Installing the RC2 version of SP2 on computers that already have the latest security updates installed can cause incompatibilities. The final release of SP2 will be compatible with all previously installed security updates. More can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechn...n/winxpsp2.mspx Hope this helps.
