  1. It's not Flyakite who invented that... Check Mac OS X and...
  2. hehe... It's already included, ever since the current structure of the DriverPacks BASE!!! Just run the DriverPacks BASE without any DriverPacks in the DP folder... (or just temporary rename it to another dir)
  3. In the case of DriverPack Graphics A: yes. In the case of DriverPack MassStorage: no.
  4. Almost 500 downloads...
  5. DriverPack Chipset will be updated tomorrow. nVidia has updated their nForce 4 AMD drivers to 6.66: http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_wi...2_amd_6.66.html
  6. Check out Regshot & Regsnap. They can take a snapshot from the registry and compare two of them. I.e. comparing before/after to see what changes an installer made.
  7. I'd say you'd need a programmer with Java capabilities, probably he'll have to know some exotic or at least restricted adaption of Java.
  8. Idem dito here In fact I was asking myself the same question! I agree. This is the only forum I know that has this effect on so many people: usually it's only one or two of them who are trying to create things or try to help solve problems. Here it's everyone! I've printed this one. It will become a famous quote. A famous quote when MSFN - in the future - will look back to its past, seeing how it has evolved. If I would change one word to that small speech... I'd ruin it! EDIT: forgot to say this: I've met here people from all over the world! People from India, the U.S.A, South-Africa, China, Croatia, the Philippines, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil, U.K., and so many more. I think the list above is one of the most impressive and diverse you'll ever find accross the entire Internet. Not to forget: people from all these countries collaborate together at this one forum, they try to help each other, they create, they chat, they exchange ideas, they not only come to know, but also to talk to friends they made here at MSFN. It's great to see the Internet is not only a great distance eraser (a quote from my friend Prathapml in India), but also this forum makes it possible to entirely wipe out and forget discrimination in any way! /me is amazed on how long this post has become...
  9. It's truly amazing :|
  10. BTS DriverPack Graphics A V5.07.1 Supported devices. Changelog: V5.07.1 (15 Jul 05) -Updated: ATI Radeon from 05/12/2005, 6.14.10.6542 [5.6] to 06/28/2005, 6.14.10.6553 [5.7]. -Fixed: ATI Mobility support: now everything should be working for a 100%! Download
  11. Fixed. It was a hotlink prevention mechanism that wasn't updated correctly yet.
  12. I've got everything fixed. Uploading DriverPack Graphics A V5.07.1 now.
  13. @zorro1: please specify which exact HWID you have got on your Dell Latitude D600!
  14. FTP account is up and running Smooth downloads should be available in a couple of minutes now, I think.
  15. Mail me and I can fix you a decent (real) ftp account.
  16. It's the goal to collect ALL (or at least as many as possible) HWIDs. You may think they're already included, but they're NOT. Promise NEVER includes the SUBSYS, only DEV... that's why their HWIDs "are all the same". With more information (these SUBSYS entries), I could make a universal driver that works for ALL Promise mass storage controllers.
  17. I have to do the work, as I have to keep the overview.... Else it will become one big mess. The only thing with which you can really help me (for now) is posting HWIDs...
  18. Nope... not possible... I wish
  19. It doesn't matter how you archive your drivers... Just make sure your paths match. You can also check out uAwiki's guide. Please note that the archive isn't online there yet.
  20. Positive for both. Remark on #2: whenever the control panels structure gets updated/whenever a control panel gets added (so that's DP Graphics A/B or Sound A/B), you'll have to run the slipstreamer again for those as well.
  21. Yes, it does, if you tell me on what motherboard that is!?
  22. Are you using a multiboot disc, exiteable? Did you do anything special?
  23. Yes, if you also properly repack the control panel. You should repack it using the 7-zip SFX setting. If you don't want the annoying shortcuts on your desktop, you'll also have to edit the .reg files in the CPanel folder.
  24. DriverPack LAN V5.07.2 Supported devices. Changelog: V5.07.2 (14 Jul 05) -Updated: Marvell Yukon LAN controller driver from 06/24/2005, 8.30.3.3 to 06/27/2005, 8.32.2.3. Download
  25. DriverPack Chipset V5.07.1 Supported devices. Changelog: V5.07.1 (11 Jul 05) -Updated: ALi/ULi chipsets drivers from 2.0.9.5 to 2.0.9.6. -Updated: Intel Chipsets drivers from 7.0.0.1025 to 7.0.0.1030. Download
