  1. Thanks Guys I didnt think so ...but sometimes im suprized at some of the things i see with computers. I figured that just maybe there might be something i was looking for. Thanks Again JonnyD
  2. I have an 4 year old gateway solo laptop with a pentium 4 processor. Id like to get a newer computer or build one myself at some point soon. The mother board on my laptop has one slot for the processor. Is there any way to make this motherboard use two processors? Using 2 identical processors. I ve seen IDE to flash card boards that plug a flash card into the IDE hardrive slot. Im not sure if this same concept is used to upgrade from one processor to two. Or if its possible at all. Just wanted to check Thanks JonnyD P.S. I dont care about reinstalling windows softyware or anything.
  3. I just got back from flyakites site. I went to DVD LAYOUT page and it looks like any images that are used need to be at the root of the cd. Unless thats just where he wanted to put his images (personal preference). But i couldnt find much else Another thing ,....... memdisk was metioned being used for Win98.ima file but i disregarded that since im using Disem1x and not cdshell.ini. My conclusion is:: Im going to put my *.ima files at the root ,make an iso and run it through virtual pc and see if i have any luck loading these images. JonnyD
  4. silly me ive been running around in circle's looking info that i had forgotten about flyakites guide. This is an excellent guide by the way This is one of the places i started when i first got into multi boot cd's But of course i forgotten what ive already read Thanks im gonna check that out
  5. im using diskem1x.cmd as a menu for booting . it seems basic to use and thats what i want since im newer to this. Ive already made a few succcesful multi boot cds. None of my cds have been sophisticated by any means. But This time i wanted to run some dos utilities and .IMA images. Im using Gosh's reducing source method, but it didnt exactly specify where or how to load *.ima, image files. Everything else has gone smooth ... Though i did find a forum post that mentioned using image files. But it didnt say too much else MY question is Do the image files need to be in one central location? Can i use a individual bootsect file's to point to the folder' where the image's are? (im assuming no since i tried this) Or can i assume that since all my attempts have failed that the image file needs to be at the root of the cd? ive been looking around and cant figure this one out. Hopefully someone with some expierience can help. Anyone got any ideas
