  1. It seems there was indeed a short downtime for the server, but probably that was due to maintenance reasons. Everything is up and running fine now. Topic moved to DriverPacks General Discussion.
  2. Did you use a vanilla Windows XP CD for that test?
  3. @marko2002: yes, the server was offline for a while, I noticed that too... :'( Nothing I can do about that, until I get a dedicated server ;-) @muiz: please redo your entire UWXPCD, things are getting completely messed up there... There's nothing I can do about that. And sorry to say this, but you are the only one with this problem, so it *really* is so that your UWXPCD is completely messed up...
  4. Why do you need to have it inside the I386 directory?
  5. Why don't you just use the common method for PnP drivers? This way they will get installed after installing Windows .
  6. Well... did you make a back-up? If so, retry, if not, unslipstream the DriverPacks and get your winnt.sif & winnt.old back in place. If the problem occurs again, we can be sure.
  7. That's because you're using the txtsetup.sif from a vanilla Windows XP CD. I thought you were using it from the orginal (thus a Windows XP SP2 CD). That means... you'll have to start all over again... Sorry, but that's the only solution!
  8. It is look like my problem! But I have NF3 Mainboard. ← So it's also STILL not working for you?
  9. This is virtually impossible: SET IE=IF EXIST SET INE=IF NOT EXIST %IE% I386\winnt.old GOTO WINNTSIF_RECOVER %INE% I386\winnt.old GOTO WINNTSIF_FIRST_TIME :WINNTSIF_RECOVER REM ### Deletes a patched .sif file, recovers the original one. ### DEL /Q I386\WINNT.SIF > NUL CMD /C COPY /Y I386\winnt.old I386\WINNT.SIF > NUL ECHO. ECHO _ back-up of WINNT.SIF recovered... GOTO PART_2_DELETE :WINNTSIF_FIRST_TIME REM ### Makes a back-up of the TXTSETUP.SIF file. ### %INE% I386\WINNT.SIF ( ECHO;Generated by Bashrat the Sneaky's DriverPacks BASE >> I386\WINNT.SIF ECHO. >> I386\WINNT.SIF ) CMD /C COPY /Y I386\WINNT.SIF I386\winnt.old > NUL ECHO. ECHO _ back-up of WINNT.SIF made... GOTO PART_2_DELETE You can see it for yourself. It's just IMPOSSIBLE that it says 'back-up of WINNT.SIF recovered' and that it generates a new one at the same time... Are you very sure you didn't modify the RUN_ME.cmd file?
  10. Is this problem solved now?
  11. Well, there are almost no changes between V5.07.6 and V5.07.7 so I have no idea. You didn't do anything special?
  12. The easiest, without-a-hitch method: 1) Turn off your PC. 2) Connect both monitors. 3) Boot your PC. You'll see they're in mirroring modus. 4) After you're logged in, right-click your desktop and click properties > settings. 5) Select the second display and check 'Extend desktop to this monitor.'. That's it.
  13. No, that driver is 4.62 too. I had already updated this just after it came out and forgot to add it to the changelog. So don't mind the changelog. It IS 4.62 (check the driver's .inf file if you want to be sure.)
  14. Which version where you using before?
  15. Strange... your HWID does exist, but not your SUBSYStem ID. I'll add it. On what notebook is this?
  16. @Wraith: woot... so many concurrent connections! For what is that pc being used? And your todo list is interesting... both how you did it and the content of it. Is that all for XPlode 5? I suppose not?
  17. I like the sound of that!!! Thanks, RogueSpear :-)
  18. Forgot to say - this has been implemented since V5.07.5 of the DriverPacks BASE:
  19. First slipstream your printer drivers with nLite, then slipstream my DriverPacks EDIT: added to the FAQ
  20. robnjay, is it working now?
  21. Check the turial, STEP 3, setting 2.
  22. DriverPack Sound A V5.08 Supported devices. Changelog: V5.08 (31 Jul 05) -Fixed: nVidia nForce APU's control panel archive was missing. Download
  23. BTS DriverPacks BASE V5.07.7 Changelog: V5.07.7 (31 Jul 05) -Updated: [DPSA]: BTS_DPs_finish.cmd: VIA Vinyl driver control panel installation updated. Download Known issues -Bug|non-critical: [DPB] all methods: in winnt.sif: if a section is being updated with new and/or updated entries, it will add a new section if the cases of the sectionname aren't identical. -To-do [DPM]: the Promise misery... making a driver of myself would be the only 'easy' and 'painless' way to solve it.
