Actually it WAS a friend's hosting company, now it's been split up and now it's the friend's friend So I don't give a f*ck. And I couldn't agree ANY more when you're saying that this is simply unacceptable. The downtime is nog close to 4 days, or 96 hours..... Go figure. Thanks for your recommendations -
DriverPacks BASE V5.08.1
Bâshrat the Sneaky replied to Bâshrat the Sneaky's topic in The General Stuff
@Woland: I'd like to post two thousand -smilies in a row here, but I guess that'd mess up this forum's lay-out GOD BLESS YOU! <entered happy-mode!> @Vid0: that's probably because btsunattended.net's bandwidth limit has been exceeded (not for realy, but just because of that fjmlqsfjsq hosting provider). As for the outdated 7za.exe, I think that might be an overstatement... @Excalabat: please have some patience until BTSunattended.net is back online. EDIT: check the first post: I've added a direct download link... (temporary) -
HUH WTF That **** sqmlfkjsflj hosting provider will get in alot of trouble with me, that's for sure! He moved it to another (better) server and apparently something is wrong with the bandwidth counter. I've contacted him right away. Maybe I shouldn't, but anyway... he's put me in so much trouble so here it goes: Do NOT buy hosting at www.pixelhosting.net, the result of doing so is reflected in the amount of uptime.... .... :| EDIT: forgot to say: the counter is at 25 MB, instead of the 5-6 GB it should be at... The system has been totally messed up! (I've got 15GB of bandwidth on this account.)

Eh... I haven't got any problems...

Copy paste those extra entries into some other file... Or automate the insertion of them. -
Optimize unattended installation speed.
Bâshrat the Sneaky replied to BoardBabe's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
RIS install over gigabit is much faster, without any doubt. And installation methods using imaging techniques are even faster than that! -

DriverPacks BASE V5.08.1
Bâshrat the Sneaky replied to Bâshrat the Sneaky's topic in The General Stuff
BTS DriverPacks BASE V5.08.1 Changelog: V5.08.1 (13 Aug 05) -Fixed: [DPB]: M1 : winnt.sif: the OemPnPDriversPath would not get written to the winnt.sif file because of an error in the syntax of the Fedit call. -Fixed: [DPB]: M2, KtD: winnt.sif: the Driver Signing Policy disabling entries in the winnt.sif would not get written because of an error in the syntax of the Fedit call. -Fixed: [DPM]: all methods: because of a typo, the wrong nvraid.sys driver would be compressed & copied to the I386 folder. By fixing this, the NVRAID problem might be fixed again. Download nVidia nForce mass storage users: please retry ***again*** with this version! Known issues -Bug|critical: [DPM]: nVidia nForce mass storage controllers: hopefully solved in this version. -To-do [DPB]: add an option to enable KtD for certain DriverPacks only. -To-do [DPM]: the Promise misery... making a driver of myself would be the only 'easy' and 'painless' way to solve it. 50% complete now. I don't have the time to upload the updated DriverPacks Graphics A and B, because I have to leave for work... They'll be uploaded later today. -
For some reason it just WON'T work... - RELOADED
Bâshrat the Sneaky replied to Bâshrat the Sneaky's topic in XPlode
lol Indeed... If I only had read the error code correctly: it doesn't say 'file cannot be found' but 'file cannot be executed'... stupid me.... Thanks for your support, guys ^^ -
For some reason it just WON'T work... - RELOADED
Bâshrat the Sneaky replied to Bâshrat the Sneaky's topic in XPlode
Well... since XPlode.exe cannot be found, I cannot run it at all... That's the problem! -
Hiya all Now that I've completely fallen in love with this magnificent program, (Again, congratz Wraith ) I also wanted to use it at the presetup stage (i.e. just before setup starts). It's being executed from presetup.cmd, with these commands: REM Find CDROM driveletter SET TAGFILE=\OEM FOR %%i in (c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z) DO IF EXIST "%%i:%TAGFILE%" set CDDRIVE=%%i: REM Start XPLode START /WAIT %CDDRIVE%\$OEM$\XPlode\XPlode.exe /xml:"#XPLODE#\presetup_xplode.xml" /log:"C:\XPlode_presetup.log" START /WAIT CMD.EXE EXIT (I thought I'd post it, it might be useful for somebody.) And my directory structure, so you can agree that the paths used are correct. So I added the "START /WAIT CMD.exe" for testing purposes. This is the result of my test (screenshot taken from VMware): So if anyone could help me solving this problem..? P.S.: the .xml files are ok this time (I tested them with Firefox and they are valid... )

LOL Be proud But it still doesn't work here :@ (For the 99.99% that can't follow: it seems I cannot post any topic... :|)

I can host it, that's not the problem All the DriverPacks use monthly about 400GB of bandwidth. Not kidding. I've been promised it will be back online today. (skeptical) -

Hm, yes, of course, but I'd like to limit the ability to download the DriverPacks to BTSunattended.net only. Please have some more patience. If it isn't back online within a few hours, I'll post download links here at MSFN. -

I added the status 'SOLVED', because it's something that's not in my power to solve: it will get solved, but not by me. It's just waiting until everything is working. At least in a couple of weeks the moving to another server will be complete! Then these problems won't exist anymore. (Believe me... it may be annoying for you but even more to me...) -
