In your winnt.sif, you tell setup to go look for drivers in those folders. If setup finds a driver that's made for your hardware, it installs it. So, IF you typed the right paths in your winnt.sif, it should work

I would not recommend using RAID 0, but instead I'd recommend to buy a WD raptor 36 or 74 GB (74 if you've got too many money ) and use that one as OS/PROGRAMS disk and buy cheaper (perhaps PATA, for the lower price?) disk, meant for storage. That's waaaay faster!
