I've already thought of it, but HOW? PS: in ALi's drivers it's like this in the original!!!. So perhaps it could work like this?

I have this set too Great set, makes everything alot easier, faster and more comfortable! But still 2 negative points: - after many many times of putting the mouse back in the base station, you'll notice a print of the rubber that keeps the mouse at its place... :'( - my 'connect' button at the base station is broken, nothing special happened to it :s @rcwalker: No lag at all! Only if you go to far away from the base station.

Found a solution to get CPL's installed... add this to any inf of a driver: [sourceDisksFiles]*.cpl=1,folder ==>"1" stands for? , "55" stands for?, ",folder" is a folder in the folder where the inf was called from, where *.cpl can be found [DestinationDirs]CPL.CopyList = 11 ; %SystemRoot%\system [NAME_OF_HARDWARE]CopyFiles=CPL.CopyList [CPL.CopyList]*.cplI'll add this to the pack now... Let's hope the results will be good...

You could also use shorter names for folders... for example: PnPDrvrs ==> Drvrs UTILITY==>Utl etc...

I already knew I had to look in the INF's, but I'm not an expert... I've simply used the search function, is this sufficient? (I'll take another look...) EDIT: didn't find anything in the audigy inf's... So the CTComp file is in one of the cab files... Well then that is the reason why I couldn't find it...

What's the best e-mail client in your opinion?

Anyone knows how to get the control panels installed? I'm asking this because I'm not sure if they get installed this way... Could someone test? (I've only got nVidia nForce APU..)

Then why is it possible to download 2 'different' versions? Why do they warn you not to install one driver instead of the other?

Nearly completed new package... I couldn't believe audigy 1 & 2 drivers were the same... So I've downloaded them from other locations. Result: I've found bigger (better??) driver packages, both different (~2MB difference). After searching, searching I've found the difference: the files CTDVAUDY.CDF & CTDV10K1.CDF are in both packs, but the sizes are different. These are 'channel-files'... Are these important? Would it make any difference? Conclusion: creative says both packs are very different and not compatible with each other! Nothing is less true! In fact they're both the same... (if someone could verify this?)

I know, I had already checked them... ALI's site really SUCKS... it takes forever to find all audiodrivers.. Have they ever heard of CATEGORIES ??? And found another brand: c-media

What settings did you use???? I've been trying this too (like 2 months ago) and I couldn't get it to work ...

I noticed the different version naming, yes, but I thougt tweakers.net would have done it correctly... NOT apparently... downloading it and adding it... I didn't check sizes, but I copied both of them again from the right packages; sizes remained the same... :s Does this mean both drivers are in fact the same? Of course YES, but then again, what's the point of making separate packages? (package sizes are NOT the same, driver folders are...) Should I delete the second folder??? I'll give it a try I guess..

Could you just tell me what the names of those controllers are? At www.tweakers.net there's an overview of the newest drivers. Over there they say 1.84.40 :s ----------------------------------------------------------------------- err... perhaps ".html"???? it's a website with only a javascript in it... EDIT: I've tested it too with FireFox. Seems it opens it _only_ correctly if I open it from HDD... What can I do to fix this?
