  1. hi, is this the patched ATI Catalyst driver? or a plain Catalyst? It's a patched one
  2. so you're using a windows copy with both english and russian language support and you live in belgium... Yeah right!
  3. try www.driverheaven.net already googled for it?
  4. Well, that's the explanation... There's another topic about the radeon2.ru modded drivers. But over there they told it won't work unless you're using an English or a Russian version of Windows... So what language of winxp are you using?
  5. This is NOT correct, it counts ONLY for the multilingual pack! e.g.: For Dutch it is 'NLD'
  6. Thanks for testing. And too bad it didn't work :'(
  7. The Catalyst driver suite is ENTIRELY installed with you! Congratulations! But explain me... why can't anyone else on this forum get it entirely installed this way or any other?
  8. You can also download Virtual PC and test it on your PC with the Audigy, while not messing with your actual OS. [Click me] No, this won't work. As Virtual PC simulates 'a' PC, it doesn't simulate the hardware YOU'd like! If I remember it correctly, VPC simulates a regular AC '97 audio.... So SiMoNsAyS was totally correct! He'll have to create another partition (which is also faster and not so much work)
  9. [Components] IEAccess=off OEAccess=off WMPOCM=off add this to your winnt.sif and no shortcuts to IE, OE or WMP will show up!
  10. VIA Vinyl has been updated again, to v 5.30c this time.. About these Creative drivers: I'm currently downloading everything to add this 'audigy zs hack' but this is a 500+ MB download! Which means the actual drivers for creative sound cards, the ones I should use are simply HUGE! If I won't be able to small this down, I'm afraid I have a problem... I've sent an e-mail to Creative support asking if they can sent me their CD('s) with drivers. When I receive this CD (If they want to send me one anyway) I can really search and study their drivers to the bottom! Till then... no fully operating audigy drivers I'm afraid...
  11. Also compress your drivers, this can save alot of space too! Use 7zip, with following settings: -archive type: 7z -self extractable (sfx) -compression : ultra (might take some time!) How to use? Add in your winnt.sif, under [GUIUnattended] DetachedProgram="Drivers.exe" Arguments="-y /q /r:n"
  12. Perhaps there's another possibility: A) boot with windows cd and choose for the repair option B) 1. boot with partition magic and create another partition 2. create another partition, WITHOUT overwriting anything 3. install windows to this partition 4. boot the new windows and copy all your documents etc.
  13. I read it somewhere... It will come with SP2 and has support for PixelShader 3.0 (which comes with the new generation of graphics cards) In my opinion it's totally useless to integrate this already. First of all it hasn't been officially released and have YOU got an X800pro or a 6800 Ultra?
  14. What's the advantage? Pskill only takes a few KiloBytes...
  15. Thank you! This might turn out to be even better than the 7zip built-in shortcut option!
  16. Try to figure out what installer is used... All info can be found on http://unattended.msfn.org, look there fore applications.
  17. I overclock in the BIOS, but that takes more time... 2.81 GHz... So this is a 533 MHz FSB model? And btw: it's 'CMOS' not 'semos'
  18. I'd like to know this too... But you're quite an obssessed replyer, aren't you???? Within 15 days more than 200 posts :o:o and not to forget: in some post you said you still were a n00b... Than what it will be like when you're an expert???? EDIT: I think it's 300 posts before you move to the fase after advanced member... (only a guess!)
  19. No. The numbers only tell setup in what ORDER to look in these folders. But this has also a slowing effect. e.g.: setup is looking for video drivers. BUT you've named the folders like this: 001_chipset; 002_NIC; 003_VIDEO. This means setup looks in the first two folders without succes. So, in MY opinion this is completely useless!
  20. Would this also work for Firefox?? Thank you! Very usefull!
  21. All you've got to do: 1) extract 2) look for the CORRECT inf file and other needed files 3) add this to $OEM\$1\Drivers and add entries to your winnt.sif 4) finished! All this is described at THE tutorial, http://unattended.msfn.org
  22. Then you'd have to use OOBE I think, which also looks quite good. How you can do this can be found in this topic: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=17549. Good luck with it!
  23. There IS support for Audigy ZS, but NOT for the control panel (this cpl is VERY complicated!!!). I'll check if it's possible to add the hack. EDIT: did the drivers work? (I mean without cpl!)
