  1. You shouldn't always download the new BASE version, just use the update.cmd, it only downloads the files that have been updated! (and places them in the correct folders !) Bâshrat the Sneaky
  2. You're the second one to report this error. Investigating this now... Bâshrat the Sneaky EDIT: found the error: I made a mistake while compressing it... :'( Fixing this right now... (posted this news in the RSS feed to warn everybody!)
  3. Trainee is /will be adding drivers! I've sent him all the data required for all Acard controllers just two days ago, so I guess these will be supported soon as well!
  4. Are you sure you didn't do anything differently this time? Well I'm glad everything worked! Bâshrat the Sneaky
  5. I'm afraid there is no other solution... Sorry, but not my mistake Bâshrat the Sneaky
  6. problem #1: Did you run it with the '-R' switch? (You should use capital R!!!) So like this: X:\path\ATI_or_something\Setup.exe -R problem #2: I'll investigate it when I get home, I'll download it and see what I know about it... Bâshrat the Sneaky
  7. Sixpack, I assume you also updated your BIOS to the latest version? Bâshrat the Sneaky
  8. @Sufu, alexlory: glad to hear this So I can conclude this issue is solved! :) Bâshrat the Sneaky
  9. No need to make a double post... Please look in the 'large' topic "error portcls.sys"! Bâshrat the Sneaky Topic closed.
  10. Nice to hear! This means I won't have to remove the SoundMAX drivers! But still a question for you, alexlory: Was there also a control panel installed? Bâshrat the Sneaky
  11. Note that the Marvell drivers currently don't work in unattended setups. This only occurs when you use Service Pack 2. Let's hope they update their drivers soon... Bâshrat the Sneaky
  12. Yes, I meant ALL of the drivers, which also includes the TEXTMODE drivers I live in Hasselt Bâshrat the Sneaky
  13. According to your the topic start, you've used Method 1. Then this is correct: But as jbm said, you should also copy the *.sy_ files to the according I386 folder! (which is apparently PRO1 in this case..) Bâshrat the Sneaky
  14. This will come soon Bâshrat the Sneaky
  15. @lukyman: I hope I understood you well, and if I did, I'm afraid you're totally wrong... You should indeed run DriverPacks_BASE.exe, place all the DriverPacks in the DriverPacks folder, but after that you're doing it wrong... Please re-read the installation instructions, and if you still have questions you can ask them! Bâshrat the Sneaky
  16. @Trainee I've put some hours of work in this method today. The result is: all ACARD's drivers are converted to this method. Please check it and verify it. I haven't had the time yet to test it myself. Download SFX archive with ACARD drivers Please re asap! Bâshrat the Sneaky
  17. Ehm what are you talking about? You should run it onto the CD source, not during the installation itself! Bâshrat the Sneaky
  18. It *SHOULD* work And of course they only get installed when required. Imagine if this wasn't the case: about 10 sound card drivers, 50 MassStorage and 50 LAN drivers would get installed Erm.. To be sure or something? P.S.: where in Belgium do you live? Bâshrat the Sneaky
  19. Well, this confirms that the problems with the Marvell drivers aren't my mistake/responsibility. We'll have to wait for a newer version of Marvell's drivers... Bâshrat the Sneaky
  20. Looks promising! I'll ask a Super-Mod to move it to the Device Drivers forum. Bâshrat the Sneaky
  21. I didn't see this topic until now! Great theme! I'll try it out Bâshrat the Sneaky
  22. You should download the DriverPacks BASE, it's mentioned in the first post. You can also download it from my website! Link removed. Bâshrat the Sneaky
  23. You should remove the .\ because the files are in the same directory! Bâshrat the Sneaky
  24. I KNEW this couldn't be caused by my DriverPack, as I haven't done any special to it... Thank you Sufu! Can the other ones try this out as well? (sixpack, CrasherFox, ...) Bâshrat the Sneaky EDIT: welcome to MSFN.org, Sufu!
  25. I really don't understand, honestly! I will test this myself in VMware today, with both methods! Bâshrat the Sneaky
