  1. Ehm... Now *this* is a strange request... Well, for what kind of device would you like to write a driver? P.S.: I'm really curious how you're going to do that....
  2. You can download those files in the Sticky topic in the Device Drivers subforum "SOLVED: Drivers from CD"
  3. Well, if you give so little information, how would you think anyone could solve this problem? First of all, did this error show up after installing a specific driver, or did it occur after an unattended installation, or ... ? Secondly, please provide us with a list of your hardware, as well as the drivers you've used!
  4. You can try that... Let us know what the effect is!
  5. When you're using method 2, you should decompress DriverPack_Sound.7z , remove the R folder and compress it again
  6. Yes, it's the rectangular shape
  7. And that method will make the Windows CD *very* system dependent... Well, you might don't care....
  8. If I remember this well (and I'm quite sure I do ), nLite can remove drivers out of Drivers.cab for you. You just have to unselect the drivers you don't want to be there. P.S.: makecab is standard included in Windows XP
  9. If you've downloaded: DriverPack LAN DriverPack MassStorage DriverPack Sound and have put them in the DriverPacks folder, that should be ok...
  10. I'm a 100% sure about that!
  11. LOL What a question on the Microsoft Software Forum Network Or are you saying in a not so obvious way that Microsoft makes primitive software? Anyway, I'd never have thought anyone would ever ask a question like this here EDIT: maybe this helps you?
  12. This is really strange :s Never heard of a bug like this, and I'm quite long on this board...
  13. It is the right link, he's just testing it at the moment, I've seen the German version somewhere, don't remember where :s (we'd better stop spamming this topic now I think )
  14. Dutch 1.03 : http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...ndpost&p=217911
  15. LOL eine Brithis Bulldog speaking Deutsch Adiel, IMHO you've made it difficult for yourself, why don't you just make some small batchfiles? All those slashes and backslashes
  16. As you can see from the post above yours, RyanVM himself won't make translations, but other people are allowed to do that - based on his Updatepack There are already Updatepacks available for Dutch and German, correct me if I'm wrong
  17. I thinking searching in the register might help you out
  18. For unlimited MySQL databases, unlimited subdomains, from 3$ a month: PixelHosting P.S.: I'm a client of them as well, and they've got a great service
  19. **** Already forgot that! I really have to update it with this! Thanks again, Timorad!
  20. B) I guess I've forgotten the most important thingie
  21. Are you sure you've properly patched your txtsetup.sif? Also, I assume you aren't using winnt32.exe to intiate setup? If yes, then you'd also have to edit your dosnet.inf file!
  22. You say you have done everything with the BASE package? You still have to download the DriverPacks themselves! I hope you also did that?
  23. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm afraid you weren't the one to see this as the first one... This character is known as the :EOF character and indeed marks the end of the txtsetup.sif file. The strange thing about all this is: there hasn't been any trouble with this for months, untill now... RyanVM didn't add this character at the end of the txtsetup.sif file and he never had any troubles with this. It must be something of SP2 or something... And not everybody is getting this error, which makes this bug even stranger... But, you are right, that when you get errors, you might want to cut/paste it to the end of the txtsetup.sif file!
  24. I have mentioned clearly in the installation instructions that you only have to edit the dosnet.inf file when you're using WinPE or when you are using winnt32.exe to initiate setup! Someone else has told me that there are some cat files missing at the moment. I'll fix that ASAP. Bâshrat the Sneaky
  25. By removing the ones in Drivers.cab If you really want to go advanced, take a look at this guide and use CTRL+F to search for "video", you'll see . I would NOT recommend this, too much work! Bâshrat the Sneaky
