  1. If you're having trouble finding the site here's a link to the DL page for the drivers. (I know it says "BIOS" in the filename, but the drivers are there too.) HighPoint Rocket 133SB http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA/bios_r133sb.htm An unusual note about the drivers. Even though the WinXP and Win2K files are the same version, the XP files will lock up my PC on boot, but the 2K files will allow it to run fine (think it might have crashed once on install compared to 6 times). And yes, I'm running XP.
  2. There were some really funny parts in that game, but it was too short. I beat it in about 6 hours. To get some real good laughs go for all the other girls that you might have skipped over before going for Suzi, Morgan, and Barbra Jo. They are the last 3 in the game and the ones you must pick from for the ending. My personal favorite endings were Ione, Koko, and Beatrice. Although Harriet was kinda nice too. Koko and Ione had me luaghing so loud I would've woke the whole campus up if anyone would have been around.
  3. Seems I read through the instructions too fast. The part about the -R switch was mentioned, I just overlooked it. Problem #1 solved! Thanks, BTS. : Now I just have to get in gear and code all this up... As much as I dread coding MS script files I know it will make my life easier, eventually at least.
  4. Yeah, I know... People get a bit upset when I tell them my 1GHz Athalon smokes their 3.2GHz P4. But I was joking with that part anyway. But it wasn't just AMD vs Intel, it's 'any good name brand' vs Intel. The past few years they've been putting out some ultra buggy stuff.
  5. Um... I need help... BADLY! Are you Addicted to the Internet? 100% L33T H@x0r (81% - 100%) You live and breathe the Internet. You rarely leave your computer(s) for fear of going through withdrawl. You are beginning to say "lol" and "brb" in verbal conversations and you haven't seen your friends face-to-face in months if you don't count their web cams. Maybe it is time to back away from the computer slowly and go get some fresh air? The Internet will be here when you get back! 516,502 people have taken this quiz. And 27,582 got the result "L33T H@x0r" like you. 1. Your morning routine most resembles: Reach for your laptop and spend the day working from home and surfing your favorite sites. 2. 6. My names XS, and I'm a compute-aholic... err... wait. Wrong type of introduction... I am what most people would slap around with a big sign that said "nerd." And it's true, I don't get out much... I love my computer(s). I've been working on PCs since 1993 when I started tweaking DOS to get my favorite game to work... anyone remember X-Wing? I was in 3rd grade then, but I easily made Win3.1 my slave. Now I'm in college and I've beat every MS OS (aside from NT and 2K) to my will. Occasionally I'll run into a road block and have to seek some outside advice, but such problems are rare. Hell, the only reason I signed up for this forum is to get info on some unattended install topics that aren't covered in other posts... that, and I'm bored. Very, very bored. So ask me pretty much anything. But beware I will call you a freaking id*** if you say "I have an Intel..." because Intel stopped being the way to go after the P1.
  7. You underestimate the interest of college students with access to the server room.
  8. I've been reading through the forums here and I'm quite amazed at how many of my questions have been answered without me even having to post a request. But there are still 2 problems I cannot solve by searching alone. Problem #1: I have a ATI Radeon 9200 All-In-Wonder that I want to be ready to go play Doom 3 as soon as I install WinXP. I've found a tutorial on how to do so, but it says that a file named "setup.iss" will be generated in the Windows directory... I searched the whole directory and sub-dirs, still nothing. Is there any program that can extract the files from the IS .cabs so that I can install them using a SFX archive or a different installer? Or just a way to do it with the files as is? Problem #2: I have this IDE controller, a High Point Rocket 133SB. It was a real pain to install normally using the F6 method and floppies. I've seen the articles on how to install SATA/RAID controllers, and although this is similar... it has 2 .sys files instead of just 1 like all the ones that the step-by-steps showed. So the basic question is, how do I install the second sys file? I know it is required for stablity, becuase when I killed it off to test it my PC kept crashing. Thanks in advance for any help.
