  1. really? I was always thinking you were using M3. On M2 I had multiple errors with a lot files missing at text mode copy(setuporg.exe was the first of them) Anyway, this seems only be me, I m no further looking on this, I already have my slipstreamed cd!
  2. lol @bashrat, i think there are similar bugs on method2 too, there are multiple file doesnt exist errors starting with setupORG.exe.
  3. I see the exactly same thing, BUT this shouldn t have caused complaints by other users as well??? Hmm, thanks for the info but are you sure you cant find any hdaudbus.* files at the original enterprise SP1 cd?(I can't check it right from my side ) You are right though, I did slipstream some post sp1 addon packs by manually downloading 'em and slipstreaming via nLite RC6. No one of them was the KB888111(which is related to the above files) because MS says it s not compatible(I understand its allready implemented via SP1). So you have an Enterprise 2k3 SP1 disk and these files are not present?
  4. A little more "debbuging" on this FOR %%i IN (WIN51IA WIN51IB WIN51ID WIN51IL WIN51IS) DO IF NOT EXIST "%%i" ( %INE% I386\RVMUPPCK.IN_ ( %IE% I386\portcls.sys DEL /Q I386\portcls.sys %IE% I386\hdaprop.dl_ DEL /Q I386\hdaprop.dl_ %IE% I386\hdashcut.ex_ DEL /Q I386\hdashcut.ex_ %IE% I386\hdaudbus.in_ DEL /Q I386\hdaudbus.in_ %IE% I386\hdaudbus.sy_ DEL /Q I386\hdaudbus.sy_ %IE% I386\hdaudio.in_ DEL /Q I386\hdaudio.in_ %IE% I386\hdaudio.sy_ DEL /Q I386\hdaudio.sy_ %IE% I386\hdaudres.dl_ DEL /Q I386\hdaudres.dl_ ) ) Although it says "IF NOY EXIST", It deletes these files. But my UNXPCD root consists of between others of these files: WIN51 WIN51IA win51ia.SP1 I m understanding sth wrong? also I got an minor error here: ROBOCOPY DPfiles $OEM$\$1 *.* /S /MOVE %RS% RD /S /Q DPfiles RD /S /Q DPfiles ##RemoveDirectory gives error because DPfiles is already removed! so it gives an "The system cannot find the file specified." error... Any ideas?
  5. I m post install trying add hardware, windows sees it automatically, installs the drivers, finish!. Then when I dont intend make any further hardware additions, can I delete these folders? I just wasnt sure, if windows, copy the drivers it finds from the other DevicePath locations to the C:\Windows\Inf folder
  6. So supposing I m done installing hardware I can delete em, and it does enables a post-install unattended driver installation. Thank you very much for clearing this up!
  7. Ehm... AFAIK that's how it SHOULD work. KB888111 shouldn't get slipstreamed when used with Windows Server 2003! It althought dels them at first! well, I was testing a little with an nlited 2k3sp1 cd. It couldnt find hdaudbus.sys and an other similar file during the files copying at the installation. I searched for them and werent any!(method 3) I made it work ok by manually bypassing the :kb888111 section in the batch file and by removing any relative file deletions, but I had no further time for debugging why this happening sorry! I think 2k3 support is kind limited comparing to XP, I had many errors with method 2 too...(i dont think I made any mistakes...) Anyway, I want to thank you Bâshrat for all your effort in this driverhell!
  8. Minor questions After that can i delete these folders?(will windows copy the used drivers to "inf folder", or because they are in the devicepath folder, windows will let them there?) And by adding them in the devicepath as Bâshrat said above, will make windows to automatically install the drivers for all the hardaware on the system? Or its like using the search for drivers option, excpept now I will not have to type a location? I m basically asking for a post install, unattended, driver installation. Is it possible with this? Thanks in advance!
  9. I think there is still a problem there if someone with 2k3 doesnt intergrate the sound drivers driverpack Files are still deleted and NO replaced by new(kbXXX) ones
  10. hmm Thank you it worked Ιt should be a better way to do this, but for now it satisfies me completely Thanks again!
  11. Well i tried many posts here...but my problems are still surrounding me ,so allow me this post I m trying to make a multiboot dvd with raid drivers preinstalled. I have used Bâshrat the Sneaky 's driverspacks with both methods 1 & 2. The "installation" of drivers pack completes succesfully, with no error messages at the scripts. Then i move txtsetup.sif from its location to \SETUP\bla\bla to PRO1 dir(thats the boot folder for the OS). But when i try it the setup is halted the time that installs the oems driver packs which says: i cant find driver blabla.sys(actually the first driver it tries to load from the 3rd party ones) What i am missing??????????? ps:the winnt.sif OEMs path points to "\setup\bla\bla\$OEM$\$1\Drivers\m;drivers\m;\drivers\m"
