  1. You're unlucky. Your IP (or IP range) got blocked because there are some DDoS attacks coming from your IP (range). It's the anti-DDoS hardware (Cisco stuff) that has decided to do this. The only solution: reset your modem OR use a proxy.
  2. That will make me love 7zip even more!
  3. Request implemented, topic closed.
  4. This problem must be caused by the driver itself, it's impossible that it's caused by the DriverPacks or the way the driver is installed by the DriverPacks. If the problem persists, I recommend that you contact ATI.
  5. I really like your wallpaper, Gouki! Could you post a link?
  6. That should work, but I don't know in what format Driver Magician backs the drivers up. But why would you want to remove them afterwards?
  7. That would be the switch for the control panel, NOT for the CCC!
  8. You could use my DriverPacks and choose to enable the KtD setting. Then you'd have many hundreds of drivers preinstalled, without much efforts.
  9. Why "%SystemDrive%"\Program Files" instead of "%ProgramFiles%"?
  10. BTS DriverPacks BASE V6.03.2 Changelog: V6.03.2 (18 Mar 06) -Fixed: [DPP]: BTS_DPs_finish.cmd: wrong paths were used for the installation of the control panel for the Sigmatel HDA driver (D\S\S\U). Download Known issues -none
  11. Already noticed & downloaded
  12. Argh crap! Such a stupid mistake! Updated version online very very soon...
  13. I think I'll set it up like this: the control panel will be included by default again. The CCC will be offered as a separate, optional download. When you do add the CCC package, it will be used, if it isn't included, the CP will be installed. Any contra-arguments?
  14. Don't forget Windows XP scans all drivers (that is: it reads the .inf files), no matter from what medium you read them (CD/HDD). That means the access time to the medium is of great importance. And when you know a CD is one of the slowest media currently available, when it comes to random access time... If you're installing from HDD or from the network, the method you requested/suggested can/should be faster, but when you're installing from CD/DVD, then I strongly doubt it could ever be faster.
  15. And what utility is that, that can slipstream the DriverPacks?
  16. Very well. That's exactly what I've implemented in the new DriverPacks BASE that's just released Let me know if it works now!
