Well if you find out which file is "help for cmd.exe" then just put it into the Components - Advanced - Keep box.
-
There is a list of supported OS versions on top of the nLite Welcome page once you run it.
-
Do you click on Display Settings popup to raise resolution then it popups or it popups on it's own without you clicking on any baloons?
-
Jeronimo, is that all together or if kb932596 excluded? Because if you didn't exclude kb932596 either do it or don't remove Bitlocker. You don't have to wait for a fix to do that.

I don't have that game to try but it would be for the best to keep HTML engine in the future. And until some more time passes and they got used to Vista you could keep the Application Compatibility. It's different when removed, without the dlls OCX and some other old stuff doesn't work. I don't need it, many don't but some games might.

Wait a second, do you really think that it's illegal to integrate SP1 once it's public?
-
After you run the Windows Update and it detects what you need then just go one by one by right-clicking details link and download it aside. If you already installed them and your list is empty then go to the History of installed updates or something like that and do the same. Then you can integrate them using vLite all from one folder. This is much cleaner than just integrating every hotfix possible and easy to update for the next reinstall.

I thought about rotating that but what if it's DD/MM/YYYY MM/DD/YYYY You know what I'll just rotate it, is it just the mirror image or DD and MM needs to be switched?
-
I meant folders in the ISO root, not the integrated stuff. msvcr80.dll is not part of the windows, look for VC80 runtimes, perfectly normal.
-
After what EAC last said I won't be pursuing this, better to focus on confirmed bugs. If anyone however finds vLite guilty for this I'm listening.
-
ISO issues are usually because of the bug in the ISO engine regarding folder names. Try not to add any non-standard folders, like [programs] or like that, it may be the cause. I did report it to the company which made the engine but they can be slow at times.

ERROR: The following value in the .sif file used by setup is corrupted
nuhi replied to Dr.Strangelove's topic in nLite
Please edit your personal data and the cdkey to something random and attach that file. Also it might be enough to paste data in the section [winntdirectories] of that file. I presume it's some unsupported char you entered in the set path. -
SP3 should work just fine. I have tested the last two beta versions with all removed and it was errorless aka fine. But there was an important update for general usage, check the top post.

Search for a free directory sync program and read the help in it.
-
If it did merge first and created only one big install.wim then I have nothing else to add. Pitty.
-
I tried it now with all removed except IE and Aero and it installed fine (restarted 2 times to make sure). Haven't tried integrating yet though. Someone who can't install this post-install please attach your preset. edit: tried integrating on x64 Vista Ultimate with all removed as well and it installed fine. So it seems I need your preset for that too or the removals are not the cause.

People would confuse this with the post install copying. For which if you didn't know you can use $oem$. About the preinstall file copy...since you already copy that XP distribution every time before nLite you can put all your files in the original folder made for it. I do agree with your suggestion more than you know because I use directory syncing tools to copy my extra folders. Maybe you should try them. You can do like: copy xp sp2 to dir copy tools to dir Point is nLite already does too much, lets not make it directory syncing tool as well

kassius, very weird. Try in cmd "chkdsk /f x:" where the x is that drive where the files are. It just collects file sizes...unless yours hangs after that while refreshing other stuff. Try moving nlite.ini and last session.ini (in presets) to some other folder temporary and run nlite fresh. Also use 1.4 rc.
-
That's excessive to integrate all drivers if you need just one or a few of them. I don't see how can insert button be that complicated.
-
If you confirm that it was the case then I'll modify the description. There could be a way if you have an access to another machine with the same os since this is a simple service. Let me know if that is the case and I'll tell you what to copy from there. I'm on Vista at the moment and it doesn't have that service. Or just load the preset (import last session.ini from that cd) with the clean installation files, adjust and reinstall.
-
Just guessing have you removed or disabled the HTTP SSL service? Maybe it requires some other service too. If you didn't remove anything then try to search for the solution elsewhere.
-
What do you mean like I know you, it's an expression to say that you posted it few times. Ok thx for the link, it shows that it might be XP x64 SP2 only. Gonna retest.
-
extrabigmehdim, only legolash2o said it but he likes to repeat it all over. I tried of course and in my case it was the NetDDE. Anyway no one else reported it, so lets wait and see. Maybe it's preset dependable. For MHT I presume you kept the Outlook Express, try not to integrate IE7 if you do. MarkCoolio, do you get that every time? I tried now with a blank and it just popups a message that I should use a CD... Outbreaker, I don't recall anyone telling me about that. Gonna check. Also what System Restore bug? Percentage settings and disable in the unattended? rado354, http://www.nliteos.com/addons/entries.html#UpdateCabs legolash2o, how could you miss the IIS in the changelog. "x64 sp2 unattended IIS install (was breaking installation)".

A long delayed fix version finally here. Final will be out much faster, it just depends on your response on this one. Bugz and sprayz... Btw if you reported some issue and it isn't fixed in this one (except for SFC) but you think it should have, maybe I missed it...please report it again. Yours trully. Changelog and download edit: 10.11.2007 RC2 Fixed Network Provision removal. It was breaking all sorts of things. If you got error popup during install (first gui boot) or bunch of WMI and Com+ errors in the setuperr.log, or RPC something...just use this one and I apologize for any inconvenience.

Attach your preset please. And the name of the tuner so that I can check driver removals.
