Tried it at my friend and not true, works just fine and he did remove Parental Controls. Try to play with UAC or something. Or it's because of the dlls your tampered. Wait new ver then or reinstall and don't touch anything if you want to confirm it.

I tried the first preset and it worked fine. Also I got a report from someone that ilegal preactivated Vista versions can do that. I'm not accusing anyone just saying what I heard, just in case.

I have integrated the Spanish Language pack into the English Vista and removed all components, no issues. I will need your specific preset in order to replicate the issue.

Your preset just has Unattended in it, are you sure that preset created that sif?

I will check the TabletPC requirements but those issues 3,4 and 5 are yours to take care of. I assure you that vLite can't tamper with the activation. Computer name could have some not-allowed character, test the same name after the install. Let me know if you find the cause.

There is no question about it. You removed it, just redo your ISO from scratch if you want it. Otherwise do what is more recommended, boot from the burned DVD, you don't need setup.exe.

I tried it on fresh XP Lite, installed Runtimes, then nLite RC2, it failed as you said, then I just reinstalled the runtimes and it worked. What OS is yours, is it English?

I just tried this Framework Lite issue and it is true but the solution is quite simple, just install or reinstall the runtime after the 1.4RC2 because they both have some runtime files which overwrite each other. Gonna write that into the readme or simply update the runtime, checking. Nebol, if you for example remove DTC and keep Com+ it will hang. Either disable SFC or follow warnings in the component descriptions. But first attach your preset for me to try if it's not something else. SmokingRope, attach the preset please.

Go in the nLite - Options - 'Press Any Key...' boot message Enable it. Or better said leave it enabled if you do the config on the clean installation files. This was changed in the last versions, before it was Enable to kill it and couldn't be set back, now it is proper and can be set either way.

You say that it errors out before the program loads and then you say it can't recognize your installation files. So the program runs but your destination crashes it? Use it with the installation DVD or extracted ISO, not your installed Windows.

Please compress and attach your Txtsetup.sif and a preset of the iso which failed.

Be sure to copy the root files as well (WIN51IP and similar). And don't you think that that preset would look nicer attached.

jimanny, did you figure it out why that happens? Try to uninstall all frameworks, reboot then install just 2.0 full. It must work. Textmode popup means it detected some SATA/RAID driver, it is most probably what you wanted in the second part of the question. If the list shows your HDD controller then select the appropriate one, and leave it at textmode. You can select any inf from that folder, the whole folder will be integrated. I would keep: CPU Intel and maybe even just in case but it's not a must if you integrate: Intel PCI IDE Controller
