Is there such a thing as legal All in one dvd... Anyway just copy one Windows from it and modify that one. Don't use RVM hotfix pack on 64bit windows, it's for 32bit. Don't copy i386 txtsetup to amd64. Basically read some guides on how to use nlite and what not to do, there is one guide on this forum on the top then on the net there are plenty.

Can you explain in exact steps what did you do and attach (don't copy paste, attach) your preset used.

Similar issues were reported before few times but when I tried it it was ok. Let me try it again, I'll report here if I manage to experience this wonderful sensation. edit: It worked just fine. Try to open driver.cab after integrator with Winrar and try the Test option to see for any corruptions.

It's nothing you removed, it's driver and hardware-bios configuration, I'm afraid it would be best first to try without nlite so that we don't put blame where it doesn't belong. You can make bootable iso's with nlite, just select that page, and slipstream service pack too, those operations are safe to not blame nlite if something goes wrong. Well I'm not being defensive it's just it sounds to me that you have basic issues, not component removal related.

That's simply impossible if that exact txtsetup was in motion. Do you install from winnt.exe or boot from cd, if you don't boot try that.

txtsetup is not changed, it's just sorted, blank spaces removed. This does not affect anything that may concern you and it's more readable and faster. And I don't see MCE on the nLite supported OS list.

Next time don't disable SFC, it's whole purpose is to....disable SFC and dllcache. You may try sfc /PURGECACHE then sfc /SCANNOW. Be sure to have nlited cd in the drive. When it asks for cd and it is still in just click cancel yes. But if it reports name of a cd blank like: Please insert (blank) and press any key...then report it here.

Did you try without any addons? First do that then please report what is actually causing that. Use CDRW or Virtual pcs if BSOD happens there too.

It's the SFC, disable SFC in the Patches page and nlite will automatically remove that folder.

I just tried your preset on Windows XP Home and 1.0.1 public, it didn't crash.

Not at the moment but that Components section in the Unattended page is begging to be updated. I'll put this into todo then who knows...you might get lucky

Hm, can you please find the lines containing those files in the i386\txtsetup.sif file and post them here. I don't see how normally this could have happened. Did you integrate any addons or hotfixes?

No. Use integrator first or just integrate what you need with nlite in one session. Your problem is that you updated configured cd with the update pack with default files.

nLite won't do this on it's own, you must have overwritten some files outside it. Try only nlite on a clean installation cd and don't use any addons while testing. Then you can find out what is causing it.

Camarade_Tux, certainly that hacks aren't allowed. I was saying more of any kind of tampering. Integrating hotfixes only replaces them with signed MS files...that sounds legal too but it can be a tricky question I admit...there probably shouldn't be any kind of tampering IF you want to use MS support.

Camarade_Tux, redistributing yes it's illegal, why even consider that. Modifying...I think it's illegal only in some US countries, not sure in that but anyway it would be 'easy' for me to modify nLite to remove few questionable items and make some sort of commercial edition if I manage some time to support it.

Alanoll, aren't you little too paranoid. And by the way license to use nLite isn't a license to integrate illegal things with it.

Yeah it should be combined but this way you can remove Bluetooth and keep Infra red. Someone reported that many eons ago.
