  1. Already tried Powerstrip, it does not provide any drivers to make it work, anyway guys, thanks for your replies, I guess since Windows 98 support has been discontinued there is no other way to find a working driver for my onboard graphic, may as well give up or look for a legacy compatible card.
  2. I can't seem to delete, copy or move anything from any of my drives when using Windows 8, when I attempt to do so, it does absolutely nothing and the window closes itself. I don't know why is this happening, do I have to enable something in order to allow me to do so?
  3. Not sure if anybody posted this, but trying to pin something on the start menu does not work.
  4. Nice work, how much are you going to charge for this? I will be definitely buying this once the final version has been released.
  5. ^^ Thanks for the link, I clicked on it but I can't find any drivers that is compatible with Windows 98, most of them are for XP. Don't know which version of 6.2 I tried, but I guess that doesn't really matter because it doesn't support 98. However, I tried this driver and it works but it has major issues: http://limemaster92.byethost15.com/2/vbe9x-iso/ The driver can be very slow when trying to scroll down a page, if you know what I mean, its like using the generic VGA adapter driver when no driver is installed When a MSDOS window opens, it causes your monitor to lose signal which is very annoying Guess I better give up looking for drivers, I guess running Windows 98 on VirtualBox is the wisest idea at the moment, though I prefer to run it natively on my old PC but due to lack of drivers it is very difficult.
  6. Sorry if this has been asked before, but in the future will you try to get Metro working along with Windows 7 explorer? But other than that great work.
  7. I'm trying to find a working driver or a modified driver that supports Windows 98 for my ATI x1250 which is an onboard graphic on one of my old Gigabyte board back in 2006, which is powered by an AMD 690G chipset, I've tried installing the last working driver for Windows 98, which is Catalyst™ 6.2 but it does not support my onboard graphic, so is there a way I can get it to work? Thanks.
  8. Does having guests OS running in VirtualBox count? Anyway, I have Windows 7 x64 installed on one of my SSD's, Windows 8 x64 installed on my other SSD and Windows 98 and Windows ME running on VirtualBox, which comes to a total of 4, but technically, I have one OS which is Windows 7 x64.
  9. Thanks for this lovely mod, worked great, Microsoft should really listen to consumers and customers if they want their product to succeed because Windows 8 lacks its soul without the start button, don't know WTF was Microsoft smoking when they thought "nobody" uses the Start button anymore and decided to remove it, what a stupid idea. Now if somebody can bring back Windows Aero I would use Windows 8 as a full time OS.
  10. Home PC. I even formatted my computer and did a fresh install of Windows, same result.
  11. Is this meant to be normal? I currently have 12GB on my computer altogether, because back then when I had 6GB it would idle less. It kinda bothers me because my machine isn't doing much and apparently Windows 7 is hogging at least a quarter of my RAM or more.
  12. I just used the basic ones, it worked for my other drive but apparently something is blocking the share and I don't know how to fix it. I'm new to Windows 7 and I'm not familiar with network and security settings. My user account is always set to Administrator.
  13. Currently I have two shared network drives and I can only share the first one. I'm trying to share the second one, the network can see it but I cannot access it and I always get this stupid error message: I've tried googling it but not much luck. Can anybody help me please?
  14. I turned it off, of course. Hate it when it keeps prompting you when you want to perform a simple task. Couldn't care less about "security vulnerabilities" or whatever, don't really see any huge threats.
  15. Ok, so far I can only share a network connection on only one adapter only, not the others. Here is what it looks like so far: http://www.overclock.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/23400 I don't know, WTF did Microsoft only allowed only ONE adapter to be shared, unlike previous OS's that once you enable network sharing it will become available on all adapters on your machine. What I'm trying to do here is to enable network sharing on all my other adapters because I have like 3 computers in the household that rely my machine to have internet and network access but I can't because Microsoft changed this and only allows only one adapter to be shared only, not others. Seriously I'm not impressed with how Microsoft changed this networking sharing.
  16. My computer connected to Local Area Connection 3 does not have any network activity at all, I cannot access the internet nor can I access other network drives. Through the internet sharing I can only select one connection, I'm trying to gain networking access on all my adapters, anybody have an idea how to do this? Seriously I hate Vista/7 networking configuration, why did Microsoft have to change this.
  17. Windows 7 is Vista basically on steroids, and I'm glad performance has improved. Though I'm using it now as my main OS (I skipped Vista, hated it) I never liked Vista/7 folder GUI (I mean, why did Microsoft have too choose this design?), and creating a network is a pain in the a**. Also, they got rid of the network activity animation WTF?!, why Microsoft? Though I prefer XP more, its time to choose a new OS.
  18. So far here what my setup looks like: I have like 4 network adapters on my computer (All onboard) and I can only get the second one to connect. However the third one does not have any connection at all. I'm new to Windows 7 and I would like for this to work, XP was so much easier to create a network. Does anybody know how I can get 3 working as well? Thanks.
  19. Yes, I will be upgrading, been using XP forever and Vista sucks balls. I was quite impressed when I downloaded the RC so yeah 7 is the way to go.
  20. Coolermaster here. In my household I have a HAF 932 (Which I'm currently using), a Centurion and I use to have a 330 Elite. All high quality cases.
  21. I've joined several computer forums and music forums, and thats about it. Don't really remember the number though. Most of the time I use "Chrono Detector" as my username, don't know why I'm not using this name here.
  22. Windows XP, 98 and 95 were my favourite OS's. Also, Windows 7 is quite promising as well, I enjoyed using it, except I hate the new taskbar but I'll get used to it.

  24. Yep, I read that, and I must say, I'm very disappointed with Intel. They deserved it, just because they are the leader of the CPU market doesn't give them the right to further abuse their power and try to roadblock their rival by giving bribes to their partners not to sell AMD products. They played with fire and got burnt at the end.
  25. I recently got this sound card as well except its the Titanium edition and to be honest I was very unsatisfied with it. I was hoping to hear better sound but I didn't. And also, I had to increase my volume to a very high level to get decent sound, its way too soft. And also, the control center is annoying and quite buggy as well. This is the second time I have purchased from Creative only to get screwed over again. The volume bit annoyed me the most, and a lot of people have experienced driver issues as well.
