  1. Hi DillyDally! Thank you for replying. This is a fresh installation of our unattended dvd. I have run the DVD trough NOD32 antivirus and nothing is detected.
  2. This problem is only occouring on our new laptops. Running the image on any of our other workstations, laptops or even VMware works perfectly.
  3. Hi! Our company just bought a bunch of new IBM T43 laptops. I installed my normal unattended dvd disc but at first login it shows up a very tiny window (no text) just a red circle with a white X in the middle and a OK button. If I click the OK button it logs out, logs in and shows the window again. I tried getting it to boot into fail-safe mode but it just seems to ignore it when it boots up Windows (does not matter if it is with or without network support). What the heck is going on ?!?
  4. Yes I'm actually booting from the USB-pen. I am starting the install by calling winnt.exe in the I386 folder. I think Ryan might be onto something about the 8.3 file format... I will investigate further
  5. I see that it works while using !choice! but not using %choice% (well using %choice% it says You entered: nothing)... I will look into ! ! and setlocal enableextensions enabledelayedexpansion... Thank you very much for your help!
  6. Hi! Im getting desperate here! Im trying to do: @echo off if "%Username%"=="Test" ( set choice= set /p choice=Do you want to continue? [y/n] echo You entered: %choice% pause ) However that does NOT work (the variable is empty). If i take the commands out: @echo off set choice= set /p choice=Do you want to continue? [y/n] echo You entered: %choice% pause Then it works perfectly... PLEASE IDEAS ??!?!
  7. Hi! Im messing with using a 4GB FAT32 USB-pen to install WinXP unattendedly. So far so good. However during the initial file copy for 3 files: OfficeUpdateEngine.inf GWFSPIDGen.dll LegitCheckControl.dll All 3 files are infact located (compressed .in_ etc) in the I386 folder. The 3 files are obviously from nLite addons but why the other addons do not fail are beyond my mind This is how they are listed in txtsetup.sif: OfficeUpdateEngine.inf = 100,,,,,,,20,0,0 GWFSPIDGen.dll = 100,,,,,,,2,0,0,GWFSPIDGen.dll LegitCheckControl.dll = 100,,,,,,,2,0,0,LegitCheckControl.dll Any ideas?
  8. This is only an idea, I have not tested it, but try and have a look at nircmdc.exe from http://www.nirsoft.net (its freeware)
  9. If you dont mind i might print this for some non-geek family
  10. Hi Boardbabe, Did you on purpose not remove gamespyarcade.com from the list during your 2006.02.04 update?
  11. Hey guys! Any idea how to autoarrange the icons on the desktop by name using a script? Thank you in advance! :-)
  12. I dunno if there are problems using gmail.com domain but I got my invite on a non-hotmail/msn domain and it worked fine. I even used it to send out invites here.
  13. Boardbabe, again thank you for this wonderful piece of work Unfortunately it seems the domain "gamespyarcade.com" has gotten onto the list? This is a piece of software I use all the time for finding online games and it is not spyware or anything else bad
  14. *bump* Bâshrat please advise... any news on this issue?
  15. Hey BoardBabe, If you dont need the software - only the driver then install it as it wants and then use Double Driver software to snatch the driver - then integrate with nLite (or request added to BTS wlan dp)...
  16. If you want me to attach a working driver for this ID let me know.
