  1. Thank you nuhi this new version rules!
  2. Im using this to automaticly remove all other partitions and make one big partition: [Data] Autopartition = 1 [unattended] Repartition = yes FileSystem = * [Disk.Config] Disk1="Disk1.config" [Disk1.config] Size1="3000" PartitionType1="primary" FileSystem1="ntfs" Quickformat1="yes[Data]" I hope this helps someone else :-) NOTE: THIS WILL NOT MAKE A 3GB PARTITION! IT WILL FILL OUT ALL AVAILABLE SPACE!
  3. Well I am expecting to use an unattended xp cd... but the original post gave me the impression that not even a standard oem xp cd would let him install so i AM worried!!
  4. Hmm I will recieve a shipment of about 10 Lenovo Centrino Duo's very soon and am already afraid of sitting with this problem too. Did you find a workaround?
  5. Btw: for /F "tokens=1* delims='" %%a in ('smbios2.exe /G ^|findstr "Manufacturer"') do ( cscript CreateBatFile.vbs "%%b" GOTO ENDFOR ) Why is the GOTO ENDFOR included? As I see it it should just continue with the next command when the FOR is completed and since the :ENDFOR is right after the FOR command it seems pointless to me?
  6. @Bezalel: Manufacturer: LENOVO Model: 8258J4U 4C454E4F 564F In this example I would rename the OEMBIOS files into 4C454E4F564F.* and then it should work for all computers with manufacturer LENOVO? or would this be specific to the 8258J4U model? Thank you in advance!
  7. How do I figure out what to rename the OEMBIOS files to? I have my own sets from HP, IBM, Dell and NEC...
  8. You can solve the QuickLaunch "issue" by reading this http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...15entry517282
  9. Packard Bell are AFAIK manufactured by NEC. The Packard Bell computers i have seen says NEC on the XP license label Has anyone actually gotten this to work automaticly yet?
  10. He he! You need to remove the checkbox that specifies that you want to use the VPN as primary gateway
  11. Actually I can use a standard XP PRO OEM cd with the IBM cdkey to install... however when it wants to activate Windows it rejects the cdkey.
  12. Hi! We bought some IBM T43 laptops with XP Pro license from IBM. However they only come with some rescue CD's and those are useless to me (Ghost install baaah!). Can I somehow modify a OEM cd into accepting the IBM oem license from the sticker on the laptop?
  13. I removed the turkish language pack because I didnt see why we would need it. Now our business are communicating with a turkish business and we cant seem to open their emails (in turkish). Therefore I need to install the pack again... but how?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  15. Nice! Thank you for sharing
  16. What is the title of the alarm clock window?
  17. No problem at all, at least if you use Ghost, just tell it to resize the new drive to make the old partition fill out the new drive. Works like a charm
  18. I just wanted to show my appreciation once again for this blocklist. I have installed on almost all of my family members computers and they are not getting spyware as quick as before :-)
  19. I must say I have run into this same problem before... The solution: Take a fresh clean XP cd and start slipstreaming etc ALL OVER! Worked everytime. I have no idea why the folder suddenly goes "corrupt" or whatever but it does after a certain amount of fiddling.
