A function to edit the "last session.ini" name after finishing would be nice!

@JayDogg I hope you hint with "ModifyPE" is working! On SP2 i had never the need for it (it works without ). It isent wrong! I do this that way for some years! But you should be shour thats your file ist uptodate. Somtimes the files get updatet after a patchday... Its sounds liek too mutch work for me!

RVMUpdatePackSP2_2.2.2 is for SP2! For your other question you shoud use the search (in top of this page)...its very helpfull!

@exorr SFC have nothing to do with a disk format! I gues you dont use a clean source to start work with nlite!

You can do this only manualy with the winnt.sif, but i think only one partition. This is very dangerous and it woud be a lot more saver to do this with a other tool! I think there are some reasons wy this option isent in nlite! ...and by the way, it isent very usefull to take the "Documents and Settings" on a other partition!

Im a power User (( )) in the german nlite board, and there i never heard about the problem with the missing XP Key on a Vista run, but Vista still isnt as popular as XP (i only ones toucht it). Im only here because of some SP3 troubles, mybe i find here some answer! ...but im talking ot!

Sorry i cant say it! allways and only using a admin account! so i never see the welcom screen! But on a other topic hear i read about more tweak problems with SP3! As more i read, as more i think i should wait for the next nlite version!

Allreight,I´ve nearly the same problem, and working on a solution. Good (?) to hear that im not the only one with that Problem. Im moding a logonui from SP3, one my running System its works perfectly but if i take it on a setup disk, the "design service" is not running. I can start it manualy but aftzer restart it wont keep working.

Do you deaktivate the WFP? @possibility Maybe you should use a CLEAN source!

Look in nLite to the Tweaks section,zhe first one "Boot and shutdown" , then goto "Logon Page". There you have two possibility "Classic" and "Welcome Screen" !

The only thing whichisnt work ist to create on a 32bit OS a 64bit OS! But on a 64bit OS you can create a 32bit OS! i'm interested too! some more exampels?

You have to test xout drivers on your real harware! There is no other way! For this reason i have some partition for windows installs.

With SP3 neraly all (or all) files get a new version number. If you are using a older logonui (maybe from SP2) then is more dangerous! In other words the old SP2 logonui dosent work fine in a SP3 XP! (its my experience)

Because a VM using thir own drivers! In other words, for driver testing you can´t use a VM!

First at all, i have to say THANK YOU nuhi! Last year was a Final nLite just a april fool hoax at the german-nlite forum. My other reason to post here, was the support removing from Serebys-updatepack. A lot of germans using SerebysPack and to remove the support ist like buying a car without a steering wheel. But the latest news are you changed your mind and the next nLite version a still supporting it. Thanks again! The last thing i wound say is, that you (nuhi) shout get some money from microsoft, because I and some others woudent use Windows without nLite anymore!
