  2. don't select the Installation of your currently running Vista. Instead select your DVD drive with your Vista DVD. Now vLite will ask you to select a temporary folder. Create a new folder like C:\VistaDVD and select this folder. vLite will copy the DVD to the new folder and you can use vLite now
  3. copy the 32Bit wimgapi.dll into your vLite folder
  4. open the install.wim with 7zip and go to windows\setup and extract the last session.ini
  5. copy the 32Bit Version of the wimgapi.dll from the WAIK folder into your vLite folder.
  6. use WPI to integrate Registry settings
  7. 1.0 would be a Pentium II. I saw it on a site which makes some experiments to see what the lowest system where you can install some operating systems

  13. the EnableMachineCheck setting doesn't work any longer. Beginning with the Feb CTP Build 5308 you must have an compatible Dx9 card with WDDM drivers.   14. The .net 3.0 is part of Vista, so the MSI Installer won't work. select Microsoft .net Framework 3.0 and click ok Now you have .net 3.0 installed

  20. the Vista installer will prompt to select a drive where you want to install Vista
  21. try to completely remove Avast and run vLite again.
  22. are are integrating the Sp1? Maybe, that the Sp1 Version is 1kB larger
  23. disable any running AntiVirus Tools while using vLite
