  1. Can You give me some details how to manage that? What do I have to do to make it work? 7zip, right click, extract to...
  2. Nero9 can just be extracted with an archive manager last I checked...
  3. Yup and NOW including spyware\adware to boot!!!
  4. You do mean the legal UBCD, right?
  5. Sure! As soon as you ask in the right area and DON'T hijack someone else's thread like this!
  6. Yeah it has the following (Imgburn) · Offers to change the homepage for web browsers installed in the system · Offers to change the default search engine for web browsers installed in the system · Offers to download or install software or components that the program does not require to fully function: Ask Toolbar · Offers to create desktop or start menu shortcuts for items unrelated to the program's functionality BUT you can install it and take the folder that it is installed to and it is fully portable! That way you can customize you OWN installer... Back on topic: I have found this to be a VERY promising program and will definately be using RT 7lite in the future! Thanks guys!
  7. Why don't you have a testbed like most of us? Hell even a VM installation. I understand UAC and what it is for but it is a HUGE pain in the a** especially when testing software. My opinion? Yes it would be nice to add it running as an admin. (Might get a bigger user base) HOWEVER, this and other software (vLite, 7customizer, Win7Toolkit (The legit one)) Personally should ALWAYS be run from an admin account with AV turned off. Granted this does expose some risk BUT lots of these apps set off AV's anyways and get slowed down or even blocked by AV's because of their nature and what they are maede to do. I commonly run these from a test bed that has the internet disabled and never keep sensitive info on it. Take for instance the new imgburn. Spyware\adware EVERYWHERE in it. Boy was I taken for suprise! But luckily I tested it one my testbed before using on my other pc's.
  8. Win7 DOES NOT include the "Classic" look... IF you had bothered to read the thread nitro pointed you to you would see that you have to use a 3rd party method to include it.
  9. Hi and welcome to THE forum! OK couple o' things: XPLite???? Nuhi NEVER had anything to do with that one. Nuhi has been gone for a rather long time and is VERY unlikely to come back. (We would all welcome him heartily though!) I have had your error before and in my case it was with a improperly loaded update. Nothing to do with vLite. All I did was reformat and selected my updates a bit more carefully (I then noticed WU was pushing BOTH IE7 & IE8 updates on me at the same time and they were probably loading in the opposite direction. i.e. IE8 THEN IE7 updates) AS for your TV card? if it is a 29xx series then your are screwed... Admins at Hauppauge are saying that 64bit drivers will not be made for it. IF it is the other series (25xx I believe) then you are in luck!
  10. Look in the options --> general drop down box area.
  11. @ Yzöwl = I have posted at ryanvm's but I doubt I would be very welcome to post at the warez areas. It is a good idea though. Maybe I will get Google out and go trolling.
  12. Didn't for me either...I have W7-32 HP. Downloaded, W7 WAIK, burned ISO, installed WAIK, copied wimgapi.dll to vLite directory and vLite still gets hung up on the WAIK/WAMGAPI issue...INSTALL opens the MS website and cancel closes the program...Any ideas? YOU CANNOT USE THE WAIK FOR WIN7! vLite does not recognize it!
  13. Sure ... IF this was in the right section... Moving
  14. I will check the tools archive. The autorun menus were discontinued when we got the official .exe for WPI
  15. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?myzd20ezlzz <-- These drivers here right?
  16. Solution: You have to copy wimgapi.dll from Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86 to the vLite folder. You need the waik for Vista too NOT the waik for 7...
  17. Unplug the tower, take out the cmos bettery and hit the power button a couple times. Then put the cmos battery back in and plug the tower back in. This should cause a date error in the bios and popup a message asking to go into setup or continue... You will then be able to change your boot order.
  18. OK not quite an emergancy now... I was able to get a year on .net so far...
  19. How do you have 7.8?? It never existed. All that aside though how are you starting wpi.exe?
  20. OK guys I didn't think this was coming up for 6 more months but I am being transferred the wpiw.net and wpiw.org adresses from the kind person that originally bought them for us! (athomsen from msfn) However I HAVE to renew them fairly soon. SO I am starting a fund drive to refresh the domain registration PLEASE if you can send a donation to me paypal with the notes saying (Domain renewall!) I would like to purchase a handfull of years if possible! Thanks in advance!
  21. For the first one: Does the cord have 2 usb plugs that go into the pc? All my externals that I have had have had a total of 3 connectors on the cord. Think of it this way one for data and one for power... You might not be getting enough power to the drive for windows to use it fully... As for the second drive: It might just be dead...
  22. ??? You're not too clear... nLite reads the inf inside the driver folder and compresses then copies ONLY the files that are needed by the driver.
