Please remember that when vLite was last developed and released Win 7 was still in the EARLY BETA process. vLite barely works on Win7 and you are bound to get many errors using vLite alone. However, there are a couple of threads on extreme slimming of Win7 in this same forum section....

hmmm can you run a "Virgin" test of WPI freshly downloaded? (Without any modded files of course) If you still get it then post these files for me: options file config file lang_en.js api.js and your nLite last session I have NEVER heard of needing to register a dll for WPI... Also I just had a thought come to mind = Nero 7? Do you have it installed?

Save this as a reg file and run it... Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WPI] THEN run wpi.exe and see if the errors return. Please post back after this quick test.

1= WPI was designed not to and does not run all installers at the same time. 2= According to the manual and the main release post you simply click on the USSF button or manually enter the command switch in the config section AFTER you browse to the installation file(s). 3= WHY??? Things are ALOT quicker and easier if you use WPI like it is meant to be and leave ALL files in the installation media. i.e. CD, DVD, USB key or whatever.

Since they are silent you simply browse to the install.exe in the config wizard and WPI will add in the needed path... WPI will run them just like regular. The only thing different is that you don't add any switches.

I have a dell c840 that fits your descriptions almost exactly. It is really a good laptop. If I was going to suggest 1 to you it would be from around that era.

What you have done is gotten ahold of one of the ILLEGAL, warezed versions of XP and even mentioning such is against the forum rules here. Honestly I am hesitant to even help you at all at this time.
