Actually it would still be illegal even if you got one from an MS employee because it would be burned redistributed media. Yes it is easy now to make them but it is illegal to redistribute them in any form but the original hologramed CD. It is also legal for you to make them but it must be for internal use only. I.E. At home or at the company that owns all of the licenses for the software included. A 9x whatever CD would actualy cost way above 2 thousand dollars to produce as you have to have all of the full original media and licenses. And the office 2003 all-in-one woulda cost as much or more. A simple google search for the iso he has posted the image of and that is in question porves that it is fully warez Windows XP with SP3 9 in 1 | DVD ISO | 846 Mb | English This CD contains 9 versions of Windows XP with Service Pack 3 integrated, straight from Microsoft. Several files have been patched, uxtheme.dl_ (for custom themes), sfc_os.dl_ (for System File Check), and tcpip.sy_ (to enable more TCP/IP connections). You can find the untouched versions of all the files in the TOOLS\UNPATCHED folder found it the root directory of this ISO. This release is ISO because of the special filesystem required. ISO’s can be made of any of the versions of windows on the CD. There is a ’special’ version of Windows XP Media Center 2005, an ‘Integrated’ ISO which can be created. This integrated ISO’s has both CD’s of Media Center in one for easier installation. The CD contains: Windows XP Home OEM with Service Pack 3 Windows XP Home Retail with Service Pack 3 Windows XP Home Upgrade with Service Pack 3 Windows XP Media Center 2005 with Service Pack 3 Windows XP Pro Corp with Service Pack 3 Windows XP Pro OEM with Service Pack 3 Windows XP Pro Retail with Service Pack 3 Windows XP Pro Upgrade with Service Pack 3 So in order to have this cd legally you would have to be an OEM vendor and have a Corporate license.... As far as I know and can tell the first Multi-OS disk was made and released by Michael K H Au-yeung and definatly was taggged as warez.

actually it is the missing pn=(1) part I was wondering about.... As it looks right now you have it ok but there has to be an exception in one or more of your excludes entries and the fact that most if not all of them are set as defualt. Either that or your have an includes\exccludes entry that simply points to another entry that no longer exists. I don't have the time now but I will pick over it mor tommorow and see if I can find the errant entry...

Launching problem
Kelsenellenelvian replied to JamesPatageule's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
OK have you removed IE or did you set a different browser as defualt? Because in your image you show the command worked hta just did not get registered. I can make you a script to call itself and then reset to call itsself agian after a second boot. Which would be the first actual manual reboot. -
no need to make a version check for 08. It is the exact string and WinVer as Vista O_o... Just use Vista check. But I will get it added in anyway.

Why not just use the provided inf file you can download from the main thread, the website or the manual??? -
BullSh*t!!! Ms does not provide all-in-ones with the cdkeys included or without the the cd keys included. I (Untill 2months ago had full MSDN and technet access) and their was NO such thing on either of those sites. If you don't know with that kind of access you have full access to nearly everything MS ever made. Those all-in-ones are the inventions of warez makers and had originally taken extreme coding to do. Now the are so common you can get them off of any site. The closest you get from MS is like the windows Vista disks which technically have all of the versions on them but no serial supplied. Even insider MS connections still have to keep the serials on a seperate sheet of paper or written on the disk. MS is not blindly stupid enough to make disks with the keys included. Yes I have seen and had used those exact same disks. Not the 9in1 you have shown but the Office2003 all-in-one I had and used before. The only way to get these is to download them off of torrent sites or buy them off of the streets in China.

WPI v6.5.1
Kelsenellenelvian replied to Kelsenellenelvian's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
You have a half finished entry in the topmost section of your config.js file... (where the first actuall entry should be.) I have removed it and all is fine. -
Hey I haven't worked much with Linux but I am interested in helping you out. Building your own OS? Sounds very interesting! Look for examples of my (Sometimes shoddy ) Work: http://www.wpiw.net http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ http://www.wincert.net/ Anything in my name at those sites I have made themes, have lots of standard Windows coding experience and some ok graphics ability. Am PM'ing you with my info now.

WPI v6.5.1
Kelsenellenelvian replied to Kelsenellenelvian's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
I am sorry I missed your original post. Yes you are right config.js IS the key and wpiscripts is the folder it is looked in for. Themes were massivly updated in the last 2 releases so the 6.3 wpi.htm will not be compatable with the new format. Could you kindly attach your config.js to your newt post (remove any serials) it may help with testing a couple of bugs that have cropped up. -

I want Update Funker Theme To 4.2
Kelsenellenelvian replied to AHJAHJ's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
Sorry I don't. T'was lost in the power supply explosion 18 months ago... -
Excuse me? Sorry Kel, but no. The XP vs Vista debate has gone on long enough, and when it comes to new hardware compatibility and performance, 64-bit Vista wins hands down over 32-bit XP. Also - you're missing one very big factor when it comes to 32-bit XP. Look at how much video memory he's got. That means that with all the hardware addressing that happens, he'll have less than 2GB of usable RAM! If you don't believe me, look here. That's the system properties from my setup a few months back, running two video cards (512MB 8800GT and 256MB 8600GT) with 32-bit XP. With the setup he's looking at (two 1GB graphics cards, physX, sound card), 64-bit is a must. I understand that SLI gives some performance benefit over a single card, but it's definitely not worth the money. It's more bragging rights than anything else, and then you've got your electricity bill and noise/heat to worry about. For my ultimate gaming setup, I'd much rather take a P5E3 motherboard (x38 chipset, DDR3) and a single 8800GT for the time being, and then wait for the next gen nVidia cards to come out. If the leaked specs are anything to go by, spending $1000 now on graphics cards would be a complete waste of money. LOL Hey I did say he would need Vista AND 64bit. (in post #4) I kinda compare them to just getting your first Mac though. Going from XP 32bit to Vista 64bit is bound to cause shellshock. Granted, yes overall it may be more powerfull, but 64bit is still so new it is nearly uncustomizable and very few apps actually take advantage of it yet. LOTS of hardware yes but the companies are still slow to adopt it. Right out of the box I would take 32 bit over 64 bit. After alot of tweaking I may like 64 bit better, but I JUST came to be 64 bit compatable 3months ago so it is very new to me. (Dual booting with it. YES! I am actually using it to not just letting it collect dust.) I really hate that there has to be 2 of nearly everything and that without extra measures some of my apps\programs won't work. As for "Hardware adressing" with the video memory that is something else new to me. I know alot about pc's, have built well over a hundred and am very familiar with programing of several sorts, but I have been in the stone age personally until recently . Heck the card I have now is a 7300 gt w\256 ddr2 ram. So I bow to you and accept that the ram issue with the video cards may be an issue.

9800 in 3 way sli http://www.i4u.com/full-review-431.html see last post for 8800 3 way sli review
-
I have no clue about sli honestly... review of 8800 in 3 way sli http://www.hothardware.com/Articles/NVIDIA...rmance_Preview/ I would shoot for 3 gigs rams and XP sp3just make sure you get 2 1gigs that match and 2 512's that match so you can keep dual channel capability.
-
the 9x series of nVidia cards turned out to be a flop compared against their own 8800 series. You could wait till the next gen ones come out or just pick one of the 2 the difference isnt all that much. As for software I do HATE to say it but since you are going over 3.5 gigs ram you'll need 64x OS. I would go Vista ultimate (((shudders))) 64x for new game support and full ram support. (I hate both 64x and Vista LOL)

OK what about 2 of the new 300 gig 10,000 rpm raptors in raid for your systemdrive? http://www.pcper.com/article.php?type=expe...d=548&pid=2 9800's?? The 1 gig 8800 gtx's are actually better. http://firingsquad.com/hardware/palit_gefo...er+_1gb_review/
