  1. OK for #1 You can run WPI Both at svcpack AND Runonce. So have WPI call those apps that you are setting your Users and such with at svcapck and then have it run normally at runonce. You can setup 2 config files for this and use the built in WPI switches for that. The sorting order = Deselect "sort withing categories and see if thats what you are looking for.
  2. Hey Nuhi here is another nickel for ya! Seriously the exact same question gets answered again and again. The answer is always the same. "It will be out when it comes out. No sooner or later."
  3. HUH??? Please explain yourself ALOT better. Also search the application installs section of this forum for some of your answers...
  4. Sorry no clue. It "SHOULD" though.
  5. Install from the factory CD then run smart driver backup and grab the drivers with it. These drivers then will have all of the needed files for nlite integration. http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...20555&st=40
  6. Yeah that is a minor issue. You have to deselect one to select the other. I will adk mritter what he thinks and see if he can make it auto switch.
  7. Considering you won't listen to us why not try an ACTUAL Far Cry forum and ask them why you cannot run Far Cry when you are BELOW the MINIMUM requirements... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee/forums/a/cfrm/f/34210466
  8. I would think that it should remember the last config you had save\used. At least that it what is perferable to me.
  9. I already answered you at WinCert...
  10. Simply copy your config.js into the new wpiscripts dir. In the next version you'll have to reset all of your theme choices and user options due to the current changes mritter is working on (But that only takes a minute) See for @4years it has always been the config.js that holds all of your program and commands...
  11. Minimum Requirements: Supported OS: Windows® 98SE/2000/XP (only) Processor: AMD Athlon? 1 GHz or Pentium® III 1 GHz RAM: 256 MB Video Card: 64 MB DirectX® 9.0b-compatible graphics card Sound Card: DirectX® 9.0b-compatible PCI card DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0b (included on disc) CD-ROM: 4x DVD or 16x CD-ROM Hard Drive Space: 4 GB Multiplayer: Broadband with 64 Kbps upstream to play (512 Kbps upstream to host 8 players) Considering you are rather below the minimum CPU requirements and right on the line for the rest. I would say there is NO way it will run! It is choking your system during the installation. Recommended Supported OS: Windows 98SE/2000/XP (only) Processor: AMD Athlon 2400-3000+ or Pentium 4 2-3 GHz RAM: 512-1024 MB Video Card: 128 MB GeForce 4 128 MB to GeForce FX 5950; ATI Radeon 9500-9800 XT Sound Card: Sound Blaster® Audigy® series DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0b (included on disc) CD-ROM: 8x-16x DVD or 32x CD-ROM Hard Drive Space: 4 GB Multiplayer: Broadband with 64 Kbps upstream to play (512 Kbps upstream to host 8 players) You are WAY, WAY below the recommended settings. I know you love your old PC, but it just may be time for an upgrade.
  12. With all of the freeware tools out there for spyware. I would never pay for one. Things like Spyware Blaster and other "Preventative" measures and a little common cents will nearly always keep you safe. It's mainly searching for Porn and Warez that will get you spyware....
  13. The printer drivers are not listed most likely because of the fact they are defualt MS drivers. Lots of the driver backup utilities do not show drivers that were provided with the os. http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...20555&st=40 <-- Try this one though and MAKE sure your printer is plugged in and turned on (So it is an "Active" device) then run it.
  14. http://www.wpiw.net/downloads/Vista-SP2_Uxtheme_patch.exe Just run it then reboot and you'll be using your themes again (Compiled with winrar! Nothing to hide) I really hate it when you cannot see what the odd random download like this is ACTUALLY doing...
  15. Nope none yet Just the areas that are changed to show the new build #. No "Real" changes yet.
  16. Hmm I have seen on a couple of forums that the game "Oblivion" uses @900 megs of pagefile and it has to be there for the use. Personally, Yes I see the benifits of NOT having a pagefile, BUT I see greater benifits putting a static (same min & max size) pagefile on a secondary drive. It doesn't have to be big but it is there just in case. I have 4 gigs ram and my page file is set to 1024-1024 on vista. Runs very fats to me and I am on a older dual-core... (E2140)
  17. getOSver()=="Vista" && getOSver()=="2003" Is the syntax I have been using. Is the syntax you are using the same?
  18. You MIGHT have chosen the wrong drivers which is very easy todo. P.S. A "dell" DVD is an OEM disk NOT retail. Technically the OEM license forbids the use of it on any other type of system then the one it came with.
  19. This is your issue. It is not a standard DVD of Vista. It has been pre-modified and heavily crap-ified by Dell. Since Dell has made all sorts of changes to the DVD already (Adding programs and the DVD is most likely of 1 version of Vista only, when "normal" Vista DVD's contain ALL versions of Vista.) vLite cannot properly proccess it. P.S. A "dell" DVD is an OEM disk NOT retail. Technically the OEM license forbids the use of it on any other type of system then the one it came with.
  20. Semi known error. It has been fixed in the next version but for now just reboot or leave the installation disk in untill after WPI starts.
  21. That you can live fine without a pagefile. CS3 and CS4 Require a pagefile for their use (Plus they actually write to the boot sector WTF???) I have heard that some of the newer games are using and requiring the page file also.
  22. A simple google search reveals hundreds of links and topics of it. It is a heavily modified pre-activated small copy of windows. It is one of the most major warez releases out there.
  23. HMMMMMMMMMMMmmmm Is it a prebuilt silent installer or the actual adobe installation package? If it is a prebuilt installation package then just run the darned thing without switches. If it is the istaller straight from the adone site then it requirs advanced, very odd switches. (Look in the application installs section of this forum for the answer) Please tell me where you got this package from...
