  1. Tell that to adobe and some newer games...
  2. Hmmmmm seems to me like there is waaaaaay to much talk of plain warez in this thread and too much bullchitting going on. My personal vote is that this thread needs to be closed and the OPEN talkers of using "MicroXP" need to keep their mouths shut because it is WAREZ and mods are supposed to warn and ban for the discussion and use of it! Edit = Please note this is only my personal opinion and in no way resembles or speaks for the forum MSFN.
  3. This is actually for a Stand-alone version of WPI (One not bundled with windows) What you want is this: This is for use with all versions of Windows Vista and Server 2008! (Presumably Windows7 also) To make use of this archive all you need to do is unRAR it and place the Sources folder at the root of your CD. Sources Folder. Contents of the Sources archive: setupcomplete.cmd (This needs to be several folders deep so I preset the folders for you) And then you make the iso with any tool your comfortable with be it vLite, utraISO or any suit-able alternative. (Just remember to use the VISTA boot image not an XP or 2003 boot image.)
  4. What kinda modified drivers?
  5. Display Adapters Display Adapters (old)?? "Might" be the issue maybe theres some, attached file or dll in those that is used? I would actually guess personally that the problem would be your graphics card drivers. Try a couple of different revisions of them. You can find nearly EVERY version here = http://www.guru3d.com/
  6. pffft FUTURAMA ALL the way! Man I wish they would continue it
  7. OK here goes: 1 - if it is a rar sfx file you can simply use the /s switch 2 - if it is a reg\serial key then do this: commandline1 = XCOPY %wpipath%\Install\adobe.exe %programfiles%\Program\ I just tested this out on the latest version and it copied the file just fine... (Of course you'll need to extract it from your current package first)
  8. I think the only way you'll get XP on that is to remove EVERYTHING possible. Remember FOR sure to disable system restore (Thats would reserve like 60megs) and set the recycle bin to a minimum size (Default is another 50-60megs.) I will run a quick test and see how low I can get it. (I am pretty bored right now ) I had to remove nearly everything but I got it to install with @100megs space left.
  9. I am rewriting the manual now... 10 chapters. It's just a pian in the a**. I hate book work. The next full release will have a better manual.
  10. Read the changelog... It covers NEARLY everyfunction in WPI.
  11. I JUST tried Windows 2007 (Word only) on a VMWare test I was running. @ 140 megs total. I would suggest a slightly older version of Office if your goal is that small. Or maybe abiword: http://www.abisource.com/ Maybe even openoffice: http://download.openoffice.org/index.html They both support MS word formats and are much, much lighter. Office 2007 is actually quite bloated.
  12. Does the file HAVE to be extracted? xcopy "source" "destination" Usually works well
  13. Actually nLite will for the most part follow the same order as you select the packages in. SO select IE7 FIRST then the hotfixes and all will be fine.
  14. Considering you seem to be asking for help with warez (I just googled "Dark Edition") we cannot help you.
  15. What is Dark Edition? There are 2 main ways todo it: Through the registry Or Control Panel File Maker...
  16. You have removed "Manual install and upgrade" YES it will still boot and install from cd....
  17. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.nfo.diz.file] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.diz] @=".nfo.diz.file" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.nfo.diz.file] @=".nfo.diz.file" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.nfo.diz.file\DefaultIcon] @="C:\\Program Files\\JANE\\jane.exe,0" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.nfo.diz.file\Shell\Open] @="&Open" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.nfo.diz.file\Shell\Open\Command] @="\"C:\\Program Files\\JANE\\jane.exe\" \"%1\"" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.nfo] @="MSInfoFile" @=".nfo.diz.file"
